RenganaxRenganax is an Arkanoid-esque game, which looks cool and has chilled out music. All the game play you'd expect - knock down the bricks, collect the power up pills, etc; more than adequate to while-away 30 mins or so. Alledgely there are only 16 levels, personally I haven't bothered getting passed four yet; it's not that I keep screwing up by getting the black pill which makes the paddle really small, or anything like that, no sir-ee, my game player skills are much better than that.

Strong BadMexican wrestler Strong Bad answers his e-mail. If you've never seen Strong Bad before start at the bottom and work your way up, or there's a first time page as well; my favourite e-mail is 'techno' which features my favourite character other than Strong Bad himself, 'The Cheat'. I haven't quite worked out yet if Home Star Runner, Strong Bad and friends exist any where other than on the Internet, say a TV cartoon or something. We don't get it in the UK yet if they do. Mail me if you know different though.

Some often used DOS commands that I continually need to remind myself to use, as well as some useful VB code and hardware set-up.

Coding guidelines for use with the WEBThority security product. I used this at my last employer and it's only really any use if you have full control over your web server environment. These are my notes just in case. If nothing else it got me started on looking at HTTP headers which can be darn useful.

My own notes on web site traffic analysis using Analog for report generation, and QuickDNS for referrer lookup.

Imperial Star DestroyerMight have to regress and buy this. Although a bigger flat might be required first; I quote, "Now you can add the Imperial Navy's best-known and most powerful ship to your LEGO Star Wars™ collection! Measuring an impressive 37 by 23, this model dwarfs any LEGO Star Wars™ ship ever produced.". Thanks to From Bricks To Bothans where I found the link to this.

A series of films about Muffins. The moral of the Muffin Tree is, IMHO, something we should all take heed of.

Serious BurnsThis site claims to be the "largest Mr. Burns site in the world". I don't know if this has been scientificly measured, but it's certainly the best site about Monty Burns I've ever seen. If only all the legal issues didn't stop the posting of audio clips. Still you can't have it all.One this this did remind me of was the map of Springfield I found which shows every location ever mentioned in the series.

Advanced tricks with CSS. I need to check these out some time so I can ditch my ASP scripts for browser detection, looks like I could CSS to do all the work for me.

MPIOGot my new MP3 player today and it is superb. Many thanks to who supplied it so promptly. I went for the MPIO DMK 128Mb in the end, part of me really wanted to go for the iPod but I just couldn't justify the expense when it meant getting a FireWire card for the PC as well. Maybe if I buy a Mac at some point I'll think again. Anyway for now everything I own is getting ripped to MP3 so I put it on the player. Won't be long before I need a new hard drive I should imagine. First off the block was the Flunk album which had just be delivered. I'd never heard of them before, but it came up as a recommendation on Amazon -the only reason I went for it was cause it had some sound files including their Acoustic rendition of New Order's Blue Monday which is probably the best track on the album. On top of this they are Norweigian (is that spelt right?) as are Ephemera one of the best bands I've found on the Internet. Anyway I have music to listen to on the train into work now.

Get back to your (Scottish) roots with the the tartan search engine. Enter your clan and it does the rest. Don't know your clan? Use the clan finder. Superb. Now you have an excuse to drink excessive quantities of whisky and play the bagpies.
