Point'n'click a safe path through the scene and avoid getting arrested in Dangerous Morning. It's in Russian but I'm sure you'll get the idea [via gamershood].
Tidy Room", but since when did that stop me posting a point'n'click game? The first stage is simple enough to get a grip on; clean up the messy items in the room. After that though it enters an interior decor stage (at least I think that is what is going on) that I just don't get. Anyway, at least it looks nice... [via doodoo.ru].
Prime Suspects sees you tracking down yet more lists of objects in the, rather nicely rendered, scenes. Very much in the same mould as the first game in the series, Huntsville, the game will tax your eyes more than your point'n'click skills, but it's still a nice diversion for a Friday [subbed by Nats].
Cinco De Mayo here in the UK, in fact I had never even heard of it (except as the Spanish translation of a standard date in my calendar) until yesterday. However I'm now reliably informed via the US that it's great excuse for some celebrations and a spot of tequila (read the wikipedia entry for the real background on the date). So if anyone can lend me some lemon and salt I'm off for an interesting lunch today...
Dirty Pretty Things, and the new Snow Patrol album. What's in your ears this Friday?
Time for a useless fact, useless fact fans. I was just writing the date for the first time today and realised it's 04/05/06 today (if you are using UK format dates, as I do). Which means early this morning it was:
01:02:03 04/05/06And if you're not a big fan of the 24 hour clock it'll happen again shortly after lunch. What do we do? A minute's silence to reflect? A standing ovation? Beer at lunch? Hmmmm... beer it is then.
Qwizard Qwest 3, I'll hand over to them for the explanation:
A third Qwest has arrived right on time. Work out the answers, use the initials to unscramble the anagram and this time use the anagram to solve the final URL. As always there's a forum for those that are stuck. Remember the q at the end of the answer!
Johnny Rocketfingers 2 contains plenty of adult material and themes and is strictly 18+ only. Send the kids out of the room now, or send them to bed or something. Ok? For the rest of us prepare for one of the "coolest stick-figure games in history" (described by more than one person to me this way), with a whole heap of point'n'click action. For now I'm still trying to figure out how to get passed the thugs without them killing me, for the rest of you; can we please stop submitting this now? ;o) Oh, and before you mention it, you can play part 1 here, I thought I had posted it some time ago, but it turns out I never did, or I can't find it anymore at least [subbed by Alex, deep, f00, winniethepooh, Jaouad, TotallyIgnorant, shweeny, Drozer & Andrew].
Save The Cute Cat, it might look like an "escape the room" style point'n'click game, however the idea here, as the name would suggest, is to rescue the cat from, what I assume is, a locked cupboard. However since you have to find keys hidden around the place, and of course there is something you need in a wastepaper basket, to utimately open a door, the difference is somewhat moot. And for the record I thought the cat was certainly jolly, but I'm not sure I would go so far as to say cute. But (just for Hazel if no one else) I should point out that there are cute cats on the site hosting the game [subbed by winniethepooh].
Puzzled Sheep is very similar in style to the Cow Maze game from a short while back, but it's much easier, and, of course, it features sheep rather than cows. Which means no udder dance :o( However guiding the little fellows to safety is still quite satisfying [subbed by Martyn].
Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire was a very nice looking, but ultimately very easy, point'n'click game, that was only worth looking at to take in the eye candy, or if you are a big Potter fan (I know there are lots of you even if you won't all admit it). The most difficult thing I found was starting the game as I had some confusion about the way it's integrated into the site, it's very easy once you engage the brain though. But then I noticed that my "wizarding level" was only 53/100 despite the fact that I finished the whole thing really quickly. Darn. What's that they say? More haste less speed? Right, I'm off to "wizard up", or whatever the correct saying is [subbed by winniethepooh].
point'n'click quality in IL Destino R, the follow up to IL Destino. If you decried the first as too easy, hopefully you'll find this one a little trickier. Nice graphics however you find it though [subbed by SteBu & shania].
