After spending the whole day either drinking coffee or the wonderful thing that is blueberry juice (that I discovered for the first time in the supermarket this morning), I now have unfeasibly large amounts of energy, and I'm feeling restless. My attention span has dwindled so much I just can't sit and watch another crime drama on television, even if I am normally addicted, or play another point and click game (again - addicted normally), so trawling youtube for short clips of nonsense seemed like a good idea and I came up with this gem: The Holy Grail vrs. Star Wars mash up. Excellent. Anyway I hope I come down from this fruit-sugar induced rush soon. I'm off to find cocktail recipes involving blueberry juice now....

South Africa Adventure
There are a few cute point'n'click adventures (and some other games too) tucked away in this Mercedes web site, primarily aimed at kids, but fun for everyone. I'm playing South Africa Adventure (sorry I can't directly link to it, navigate as follows: click game icon > adventure & strategy > south african adventure) as I've had one of my own, although mine involved less point'n'click puzzles. And remember kids, once you're done playing, tell mummy and daddy that they have to buy a Merc and don't stop until they do [subbed by winniethepooh].

Mix a soupcon of point'n'click, a large dollop of violence, some video footage, and lashings of first-person-shooter gaming, and you get FPS IRL. It's quite a neat idea, if a little short (I'm guessing it takes quite a lot of work to make though), but not one for the kids, or peace loving hippies, to play. And remember folks: don't try this at home. Shooting people in real life is not big or clever [via gamershood].

Domino Pressure
Domino Pressure is a curious game where you try to squash tomatoes with dominos against a tight time limit. Knock down all the dominos in the process and you're rewarded with an increased time limit for later levels, leave some standing, and your time limit quickly diminishes. Not running out of time is very tricky, but then again so is not having just one more attempt [subbed by Meeker].

Paying Back
In Paying Back you play Ken, who has to find $50 in his house to pay back his friend Bob. The trouble is you start the game in your bedroom, where you are stuck, having been sent there by your Dad after getting some bad school results. Cue some point'n'clickery to get out of your room and find $50 for Bob. Watch out for the rather weird [SPACE] bar control for picking up things, and also there's a little bad language you might not want younger players to see [subbed by MsInterpret].

MotherLoad is not my normal kind of game, very arcadey, if that's a word (it is now, if it wasn't), but I gave it a try and it's very addicting. You control a caterpillar-tracked, helicopter-esque, drilling machine, the idea being to mine as many minerals as possible to earn money to upgrade your machine, mining more and more minerals as you go. It sounds a bit dumb, but I found it hard to tear myself away to post it in the end. Don't worry I saved my game - I'll go back to it later [subbed by nikkiv].

"I Want To Enter" is a game along the same lines as an "escape the room" point'n'click game, but differs in that you want to get in, rather than out. Squirrel Escape
In Squirrel Escape you must escape the evil rampaging squirrel hoards with only your wily point'n'click skills to help you in your quest. At least that's what the game should be in my head. In reality you bound around collecting keys and coins, and you have to use the keyboard to do it. Fun, but I like my version better [subbed by Meeker].

Four Leaf Clover
The idea of behind the "Four Leaf Clover" game is simple: you have six minutes to find seven, count them, seven, four-leaf clovers. As you may suspect though, the execution of the game is somewhat more tricky than it sounds, even if it does sound a bit tricky anyway, and it's somewhat addicting as well... just think how much luck you will have accumulated if you succeed though... Set in South America, but written in an Eastern European language I don't even recognise, much less understand, I suspect the most difficult thing about Citrus Impossible is working out what is going on. Skatteoeen 2
I'm really not feeling well today so there's not much posting on the cards. What I need is a childish game like Skatteoeen 2 to keep me occupied. It has pirates, dangerous animals for you to bash over the head and treats to collect. Excellent. Oh, and it's in Danish, which I don't understand at all, but it sounds cool, especially when the little pirate talks [subbed by helle].
