J & G In The UK (Part 3)
The other week I posted some of the pictures from when Jennifer visited me here in the UK back in August... well I've finally had time to sort the remainder of the pictures out (it's been a busy couple of weeks). This set is from when we were up in Staffordshire visiting my parents and we went out to visit a castle over in Cheshire. As before click on an individual picture to see a larger version.

SSSG5: The Secret Treasure
Another day, another addition to the Super Sneaky Spy Guy Series... really does this sneaky spy ever sleep? Anyway... SSSG5: The Secret Treasure sees us relocating from the now familiar surroundings of the mansion house to a beach front property in search of some secret treasure. Time to get point'n'clicking people... [subbed by f00].

Daelindor - The Dark Castle
Well so far in Daelindor - The Dark Castle I have randomly point'n'clicked around and managed to open a door. At which point I was promptly told I was dead. Oh dear. Perhaps you'll have more luck...

On a hike through the foothills of some ancient mountains on the Continent, you and your friends venture into a dark and silent forest. Quite unexpectedly, you find yourself in the midst of long-forgotten ruins - the remnants of an age-old castle.

While your friends play hide-and-seek between the broken and overgrown walls, you suddenly slip and slide down into a ravine. As you get back onto your feet, you find yourself in front of the gaping entrance to an old mine...

Dutch Esc
Dutch Esc (for want of a better name) is a, Dutch, room escaping point'n'click game. I ran the text on the opening page thru babelfish to get an idea of what is going on. I'm pretty sure it's not the best of translations, but you'll get the idea:

It is Monday afternoon 17.30 everyone is already to house and that want you also! but someone has twisted the door on lock

BTW, if you just get a blank page, try going direct to this page. The "official" start page I linked to above doesn't seem to work in every web browser [subbed by Stevan R].

Forget 5
Maybe Forget 5 is a point'n'click game, maybe it's an instrument of psychological torture designed to make your brain leak out of your ears (it worked on me), I wouldn't know as I just don't have a scooby what's going on here. Major language barrier alert with cherries on top! Can anyone provide some further explanation of what this game (?) is about? Thank you [subbed by winniethepooh].

Otakara 2
Otakara 2 is one of a couple of point'n'click games I have recently been sent that I have been holding off on posting as I just don't have the first clue on how to describe them to you, let alone play them. Major language barrier alert! Anyway perhaps someone out there can tell me, and the rest of us, what the idea of Otakara 2 is? Here's what I have so far: "you need to enter a code to open a door"... er... that's it... [subbed by winniethepooh & JhInG].

The Descent
In The Descent you must escape from a series of caves, which unsurprisingly are pretty dark, using the limited selection of objects you find along the way. The slightly spooky atmosphere of this point'n'clicker is heightened by scary images flashing up on screen, like the one pictured above of... er... a girl blowing some candles out on a birthday cake. Er... like I say, really scary. Seriously though the game is atmospheric, but not really hide behind the sofa scary, quite absorbing for a little clicking on a Friday morning though [subbed by QuietStealth].

Escape From Artemis
Escape From Artemis is a great looking, and sounding, arcade game goes point'n'click-esque adventure (although you'll need to use that nasty keyboard thing, rather than the lovely mouse). In the game evil bandits have kidnapped the beautiful Efelia, and hidden her in a room under the Artemis Temple. This is one of the seven wonders of the world but also, coincidently, it's notorious for being a hideout for the local criminals. Wouldn't you just know it? Presumably as well as being criminals they must also be lovers of art and architecture. Anyway, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to penetrate temple and save her [subbed by Kate].

Holly's Attic Treasures
Find the hidden trinkets in Holly's room in Holly's Attic Treasures. A very simple, but nice, kids point'n'click game [subbed by Kate].

Turkeys Turkey Turkeys
Take your Turkey a la Badger this Thanksgiving. Happy holidays to everyone in the US, and spare a thought for those of us that have to work another two days before we reach the weekend :( [subbed by nick s the hamster].

SSSG4: The Ultimate Adventure
Wow these are released quick, the SSSG Series continues with a point'n'click search for a magical flute in SSSG4: The Ultimate Adventure, which means more fine photographs of the mansion house for you to explore:

Back again! In this Ultimate adventure You will see some rooms from the other 3 games. There are more rooms, more items and some tough puzzles to solve. If you thought the first three were too easy, then you may have your work cut out for you in this one!

[subbed by no-one as my e-mail account is full, so the submissions are not getting through (sorry - I'm sorting this out now)].

Rat Room 2
I really thought I had posted Rat Room 2 before, I've certainly played it before, but searching back through the vaults I just can't find it anywhere. So, if you haven't tried it before, start randomly clicking in the point'n'click pit of darkness that is Rat Room 2 which manages to be even more obscure than the original Rat Room. It's black, black, black... [subbed by winniethepooh, Cynthia & Ashley].
