OK folks, it's time to drop it like it's hot, as we head on over to Doggnation... which actually isn't the latest tune from Snoop, but is a new game from Bart set in the land of "Doggs" (no relation to Snoop). Doggnation is kind of an arcade game meets logic puzzle, with a little bit of point'n'click thrown in. The story:

Once upon a time there was a peaceful nation of "doggs", they were living in a small castle that could use a little upgrade. Can you help these "doggs" to upgrade their castle?

Bow Street Runner (Chapter 2)
The second chapter of Bow Street Runner is out now. Unfortunately some idiot has forgotten his "episode code" from part one (I don't even remember getting one if I'm honest) so it looks like I'll be playing all the way thru from the beginning rather than going straight to new stuff (hence the re-used screenshots)... word on the street btw is that work has been done to sort the issues encountered in part one so hopefully it should be a better playing experience this time round [subbed by SyrupJunkie].

UPDATE: Ok, I've played thru part 1 again now (hence the updated screenshot above). It does seem to play much better now, I didn't have any of the problems I had before, and what's more I found more in the game (maybe I just missed it last time though) and I even managed to progress from runner to constable in the esteem system (which I didn't even come near to doing before). It still has those "follow the line" things - but either they've been improved, or I've improved, as I found them much easier this time. Oh - and I've actually started playing the second chapter :) It seems excellent so far (hmmm... point'n'click autopsy - interesting) with a little bit of a gambling twist.

Bird's Eye View Escape
Bird's Eye View Escape gives us a new perspective (literally) on the traditional escape the room game. Zooming in and out of the room from above is a bit weird at first, but makes for a nice innovation once you get used to it, and even though seeing everything "in plan" sounds like it might not look that good, the graphics are actually quite appealing as well [subbed by stacy in cleveland, Crymoon & Mantari].

Escape The Computer Room
It comes as no surprise to see a computer in an "escape the room" game, they must be the second most common featured item after the wastepaper basket (curiously missing from this game), but it's especially unsurprising when the name of the game is Escape The Computer Room [subbed by Mystery].

Sheep Room Escape
For any Sheep out there, who have an internet connection, and who are visiting this site, Sheep Room Escape is the game for you. Or perhaps I should say: Baa baa Sheep baa baa, baa baa ba baaaaa baaaaaa, baa baa baa baaaaa baaa baaa, Sheep Room Escape ba baa baaa baa baa! [subbed by Mystery].

Plexus Puzzle
If one of those intensive url changing puzzles isn't your cup of tea (mental note: I really must stop using that phrase now I'm in the US and not the UK) then perhaps you'd like to play with a nice relaxing jigsaw puzzle whilst enjoying your morning cup of joe (mental note: That's better). Plexus Puzzle has got some nice pictures, which is pleasant, but hang on, what's this? The puzzles pieces are strange shapes, that's going to make it a little trickier... (mental note: longer coffee break required). Surely I can just slide them together easy enough though.... oh. They spin around too (mental note: I wasn't doing anything at lunch anyway). Fortunately though, I'm cunning. I know that jigsaw puzzles are always easier if you start at the edges first...hmmm... there are no straight edges (mental note: I better clear my diary for the day). Enjoy... and , note, it's not so bad when you get the hang of it - see the pic above for a couple of starting clues [subbed by Hellervon].

"N" is a minimalist url changing puzzle game where each solution is a clue to the next "level". Actually I'm calling it "N", but it's so minimalist that it doesn't even have a name, so that's a bit of artistic license on my part (and it makes the combination of title and screenshot to be "Nooooo" which is silly enough to make me giggle). Anyway, it's one for all you puzzlers to enjoy [subbed by witchrock].

Bake A Cake With Sartha Mewart
Bake A Cake With Sartha Mewart has been out for ages, I have no idea why I haven't posted it (maybe because it's not suitable for kids - possibly), the first email I still have about it (I've probably lost the older ones) is from 2006 and even that mentions that it's an old game. Still the weekend is a great time to catch up with these things, and at least it means that even if I haven't posted your submission yet, maybe I will eventually get around to it one day. Anyway, in the game you have to point'n'click your way to baking a cake for you mum, which is a nice thing to do on the weekend [subbed by Takumireki, crystal, chocoholic, AznBoiInDaBay, anon & Jadee].

Wogger Mini 115
It's a rainy Saturday morning here, so what better time for a little bit of science? Perfect hey? Did you know that 115 is the atomic number of an element temporarily called Ununpentium? Fascinating hey? Not floating your boat? I can see you must be a geography fiend rather than a science buff. Did you you know that Interstate 115 connects Interstate 15 and Interstate 90 in Butte, Montana (hello to all you Monantans - is that even a word (?) - btw)? Riveting n'est pas? No, still not your thing? Then may I be as presumptuous as to assume you like point'n'click games and you might be interested in playing Wogger Mini 115? Look at that. Saturday morning and we've got science, geography and games... what more could you want? Well personally I'd vote for a big cup of coffee, let's see if it's brewed yet...
