FOOTNOTES: You might well experience popup/under windows when playing this game, especially if you are using Internet Explorer (IE).
If this bothers you consider using a different web browser, like Chrome,
Firefox, Opera or
Safari all of which have better popup blocking capabilities. Here at Lazylaces we mainly use, and
highly recommend, Chrome. At the very least consider using IE in
conjunction with anti-adware software.
5 Stars Hotel Escape begs the question do hotels get more, or less, stars the more ingenious their puzzles are? How do the people that give out hotel stars rate that kind of thing? Is the fact that I've only ever been able to afford 4 star hotels at best the reason why I could get in and out of all the doors with a simple key card (or a simple metal key back in the old days) rather than having to puzzle my way in and out of every room? Maybe if I'd upgraded I could have a puzzle or two thrown in with my stay? And now, of course, I am wondering if this kind of thing happens in the first class compartment on aircraft as well? And the Orient Express must be terrifically hard to get around with really stunningly difficult codes and mysteries to solve... [subbed by f00].

I accidentally didn't mute the sound when playing Mission Queen Escape and went into a catatonic trance that lasted 4 hours. The mute button is in the bottom right next to the timer. You have been warned! [subbed by zippa].

SITE UPDATE: I tweaked the layout on the comments today to make them slightly easier to follow, which is nice I'm sure you'll agree. Check out the Hot Gossip page (or the comments for any post) to see them in action. I'm also considering reversing them so that the newest comments will be at the top of the page, and the older comments will languish down at the base of the page. I think that'll be cool, but I haven't decided for sure yet. One thing is for sure though, it'll be a bunch more work for me, so maybe that'll have to wait a while.
And if you are wondering how to get your own avatar for comments, pop on over to Gravatar and register for your globally recognized avatar (or just use your email address when you comment and get assigned a random-ish one).
Cheers All

'Tis a slow day in the world of point'n'click today, at least it is in my inbox, so I'm going to step back in time a little and get lost in the world of Aurora as I wait for some new games to come along...

We might mock this Indoor Garden Escape nonsense; Staying indoors to go outdoors? And when you escape the outdoors indoors where are you escaping to? The indoors outdoors? But at the end of the day we're all stuck indoors at computers playing games so it's not like we're occupying the strong moral high ground here. Anyway. Off to give this one a go... Overtime features ghosts and monsters in your bathroom which might make it unsuitable for children, and those of you that really need to go [subbed by f00].

One of these days I'm going to cash in all the gems and gold coins I've found on Sneaky's Journey, and all his other adventures, and buy my own luxury villa with in-ground pool [subbed by Selfdefiant].

Cabana Escape is super old, like 2009 or something ancient like that, but I missed it first time around and I'm upset I didn't get to singalong to Copacabana. But today that wrong has been righted. Happy Friday everyone [subbed by louise].

I think it's safe to say that we all dream of one day fortifying our own island and filling the surrounding waters with sharks with laser beams attached to their heads, and in Castle Island Escape you get to live that dream... but without the sharks. And you're going to want to hit that mute icon in the top right of the game, otherwise this dream will become a nightmare [subbed by zippa].

My, my, my Deliza is a weird one. It looks great, but the navigation is likely to give you motion sickness. Either click and hold the mouse button, then move the mouse, to pan around, or use the arrow keys to pan instead. Despite abhorring keyboard controls myself, I actually found using the keyboard slightly less vomit inducing. Once you then get passed that, there is of course a point'n'click adventure to be had here... [subbed by f00].
