Reincarnation: ATOE (ATOE = A Taste Of Evil, and is nothing to do with wriggly things at the end of your feet) is the latest incarnation of the Reincarnation series (see what I did there) that puts you in control of the little purple demon dude as he tries to reclaim reincarnated souls. Which all sounds a little macabre, but actually manages to all be rather amusing in a way that, when you stop and think about it, only says bad things about you. Room Of E**** is a short, but somehow rather sweet, escape the room game that'll bring a little sunshine (at the end) to an otherwise rainy and blustery Wednesday morning (at least that's what it's like here). My one word of advice on this one is to use your zoom feature on your browser whilst playing, otherwise some parts (I'm looking at you purple room) can seem to be a lot harder than they really are [subbed by f00].

Being locked in a tower by a king is normally the precursor to being beheaded (or growing your hair long and having princes climb up it or something) so you better get your skates on mate and attempt a Tower Escape. Assuming you want to keep your head that is. Hint: Don't drink from the cup. Ewwww, who put that there? [subbed by supernova].

Due to an unlikely transposition of time periods, genres, locations and any number of other so called "facts" I can exclusively reveal that Room with a Clock is the long awaited sequel to E.M.Forster's original A Room with a View. It also stars Shia LaBeouf and some oversize transforming robots. The musical score consists of original pieces written by Sir Elton John, and is performed by Mozart, although this has been edited into tones where only dogs can hear it due to legal wrangles during post production. Also, just possibly, there may be a clock, but that outrageous report has not yet been confirmed [via nordinho].

You know those river crossing puzzles where you have a fox, a chicken and some grain (or some other such combination of things where they want to eat each other), and a boat that will only carry one of them (and you) at a time, and you have to work out the trips you need to make to get them all safely across a river? Well, that's not what River Puzzle Escape is... [subbed by charlie].

Great Hall Escape rewrites the rules when it come to point'n'click games... the old rule book said that a clock locker with strobe lighting on it's buttons was simply not allowed in the genre, but Great Hall Escape merrily laughs in the face of that rule and blows a big raspberry in the face of the point'n'click old guard. 5 Stars Hotel Escape begs the question do hotels get more, or less, stars the more ingenious their puzzles are? How do the people that give out hotel stars rate that kind of thing? Is the fact that I've only ever been able to afford 4 star hotels at best the reason why I could get in and out of all the doors with a simple key card (or a simple metal key back in the old days) rather than having to puzzle my way in and out of every room? Maybe if I'd upgraded I could have a puzzle or two thrown in with my stay? And now, of course, I am wondering if this kind of thing happens in the first class compartment on aircraft as well? And the Orient Express must be terrifically hard to get around with really stunningly difficult codes and mysteries to solve... [subbed by f00].

I accidentally didn't mute the sound when playing Mission Queen Escape and went into a catatonic trance that lasted 4 hours. The mute button is in the bottom right next to the timer. You have been warned! [subbed by zippa].

'Tis a slow day in the world of point'n'click today, at least it is in my inbox, so I'm going to step back in time a little and get lost in the world of Aurora as I wait for some new games to come along...

We might mock this Indoor Garden Escape nonsense; Staying indoors to go outdoors? And when you escape the outdoors indoors where are you escaping to? The indoors outdoors? But at the end of the day we're all stuck indoors at computers playing games so it's not like we're occupying the strong moral high ground here. Anyway. Off to give this one a go...
