The top ten cheesy films list is topped by my all time number one cheesiest film moment - the President's speech from Independence Day. I actually have to leave the room at this point in the film. I'm feeling slightly ill just thinking about it, but a chortle-some stroll though some bad film moments none the less.
Charlotte makes friends while Vendetta makes fiends. Disturbing playground capers from the maker of Muffin Films.
The quest for the ultimate kitten - tracking an Internet legend.
Drew Barrymore in at number 3 in my top 3 candidates for Mrs Lazylaces a while back but I've now finally seen Donnie Darko. Firstly let me say all the hype and tributes I've seen for the film were well deserved. Deliciously entertaining and creepy. What is more Miss Barrymore is almost more appealing than she was in The Wedding Singer whch I didn't think was possible. I think that means Minnie has been bumped off the number 2 spot (still a lot of work to do to catch Fiona).
Yet another quizilla quiz but how could I resist when the challenge was "Which Homestar Runner character are you?". And which was I, I hear you ask. Strong Bad's sidekick The Cheat of course. I feel very Cheat-esque now.
The UK saw the start of winter at the weekend as the clocks went back an hour and moved from British Summer Time (BST) back to good old GMT. I have a new definition of the start of winter though - it's the first morning you are glad when you walk out of the door to see that it is raining, as it means you don't have to scrape the ice off your windscreen. Only the British winter could provide me with such a low high point. Anyway this morning was that morning so it is now officially winter in lazylaces land.
When I have more time on my hands I'll be watching the huge Broken Saints animated series which looks beautiful.
Man aims, and suceeds, to shower with 100 women in a year. I know what you are thinking. Not "why didn't I think of that", but "he must be very clean". I did recently complete my own mini project which I'll write up for the site soon, hopefully as a mini-meme. Unfortunately mine didn't involve women or nudity. Doh!
David J. Bradley is the man who gave the world "ctrl-alt-delete".
A very warm welcome from the Swedish Chef.
