Use your new zippo cam
to help you in your quest to become a real life spy
. Well to take part in a spy based reality TV show
at any rate (no really, you can sign up here
). It's easily argued that reality TV shows went a step too far some time ago but this has got to be the final nail in the coffin surely? The very subtle cover
on the offical website was a nice touch though, shame it wasn't a little more complicated!
Enact those James Bond spy fantasies with this digital camera hidden in a zippo lighter casing. Not that I have James Bond type spy fantasies or anything...

A puzzle game involving Logic, Blood and Kittens! Kind of like a gory version of minesweeper, this landed in my in-tray the other day, possibly counting as spam, but most welcome none-the-less. I've only managed to complete it once with a very poor score, I normally run out of limbs and/or kittens before I get near the other side [mail from The Jab
Anyone doing cross-browser web development has probably experienced the frustration and bewilderment of trying to test their website across different versions of Interent Explorer. While Mozilla, Netscape & Opera will happily let you install multiple versions on one machine, MSIE is most definately a one install on one machine deal, and even downgrading explorer on a machine can make for a messy headache. Fortunately I now have access to machines with 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 installed which up until now I thought was the only solution to this problem (although I have seen people run mulitple OS's on one machine to allow for this very problem, but that quite frankly seems a little extreme). Anyway here are some notes
on how with a little work you can run multiple IE's on one box.

Where The Simpsons lead science follows with the invention of the Tomacco
plant. Tomacco is a combination tomato-tobacco plant, even though it tastes foul and has a brown, gooey center, Springfield becomes addicted to the fruit after one bite, and Homer gets rich. Alternatively it makes for a nicotine rich tomato. This is the bizarre edge of real science-fiction.
I'd seen and ignored news of the Playstation Portable, but The Register
has pictures of the design and now I want one *drool*.
Remember, remember the 5th of November. For some bizarre reason I still can't fully fathom, despite almost 30 years from birth as a Brit, Britain celebrates today that 400 years ago somebody tried to blow up
the parliament building
. Surely countries get invaded for this kind of thing these days?
Anyways...auntie beeb's topical report for today reveals that Mr Fawkes' expolsive planning was a little OTT and had it suceeded it would have wiped out most of downtown Westminister, including if my rough guess on the historic map is right, the site of Waterloo station. Take that South West Trains you b**tards. Fortunately (?) my office along the river at Southwark would have remained untouched had things worked out (NB. I am aware that both Waterloo station and my office did not exisit in 1605).
This week I have mostly been listening
