Two newspaper related links on one day. Wednesday is news day here at lazylaces. Check out today's front page from newspapers in 39 counties around the world, courtesy of newseum, or generate your own right-wing headline with the daily mail-o-matic. For readers outside the UK The Daily Mail is a notoriously right wing UK daily tabloid, which no doubt still mourns the loss of Margret Thatcher as PM [via del.icio.us and le donut].

The awsome photography/design/art/call it what you will, of David LaChapelle. Well worth a browse through the entire collection for a visual feast [N-entirely-SFW].

Squeeze the accordion, blow the trumpet and strum the guitar with some virtual musical instruments. My favourite is the rather bizarre cymbalum.

The genius of pr0n for charity; over 2 grand raised for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre already. NSFW but it's for a good cause so check it out when you get home.

On-line train timetables are very handy, but if you've ever used the UK national rail enquires on-line service you'll know it works very badly, mainly due some very poor design decisions - even pressing the submit button is tricky in Mozilla (hint: use only the top portion of the button). Anyway dracos has built a very accessible front end to the site which I intend to use from now on. Neat.

The UK census results are in and it would appear that 0.7% of the British population are confirmed Jedis, with Brighton topping the Jedi league table. May the force be with you!
Update: I've been scanning through the Census site a little more and as well as our Jedi population the census results make interesting reading. For instance it shows that there are 2.4 people per hectare, which gives me plenty of room to extend my flat, and that there are over 1.5 million more women than men which increases my chances of a date this weekend. I think I'm going to be reading through these all day...

For all of you too lazy to use the graffiti creator the graffiti bot should ease the strain on your artistic ability. Such a shame that the photo was taken before it had finished writing "lazylaces". I know it loves me really though.

This flash thingumy that shows the relationships between the major search engines has been linked to a lot recently so you've probably seen it already, but I thought I'd give it a link anyway as it proved very useful today. I was trying to demonstrate to someone why those multiple search engine submission things were a waste of money, and how with a just a couple of free direct submissions he could have pretty much the whole thing stitched up. A nice visual demo proved my case.

Forget Starsky, forget Hutch, the biggest news about the new film of the TV series is that Snoop Dogg is Huggy Bear. Superb.
