This link is mainly for my own reference as high on my list of places I really must visit is San Francisco. This "vigin's" guide seems like a great tour of the whole city and should come in handy. Also it's not often I'm considered a virgin ;o) If things go according to plan I may visit San Francisco next year, this year I'll be going to South Africa, but more on this some other time.

If you missed out on the Google graphics to celebrate the beginning of the year of the monkey why not check out the "The Fifty Coolest Apes Of All Time" instead? ITV Monkey would get my vote, but doesn't feature.

You may or may not believe in the BBC, but whatever you think they make some crazy decisions [especially for manly].

One of those obvious questions that's so obvious you don't even think about it. I won't give away the precise anwser, but I don't think there'll be any surprised faces if I let slip that it's wider than a pinapple.

The Infamous Jules
After escaping the camera for so long the Infamous Jules is well and truely captured on film with my goodself in these escapee photos from the beginning of the year. They're not bad quality either considering their voyage from Jules' camera, through photo-processing, via Royal Mail to my door mat, to my office via messenger bag, through a Fujitsu scanner, TIF viewer by Ifranview, and finally conversion into JPEG format.

Also while I'm on the subject of the Infamous one, she'll be pleased to hear that her disappointment that the twister duvet cover is only available as a single will be short lived, as it is soon to be available in King Size. I fear for her fiancÚ in their new home.

While checking out my web mail I was distracted by the offer of air guitar aerobics over at ntlworld. I think this must be for real, because I've never found evidence of a sense of humour at NTL before, this made me chuckle though. I voted for Bohemian Rhapsody in the "Which song are you most likely to rock your body to?" poll.

Judging by the word on the street, not to mention the huge number of google hits I've received, Penguin Vrs. Yeti is one of the most popular Internet games ever, so it's only fitting that it should receive it's own "photoshop gallery". Superb.

Mini project for the month is to find a soundboard for each Futurama character. First Bender, now Dr. Zoidberg. I'm going for Fry next...

30 articles written over 30 days to show you how to love the Opera web browser. Of course learning to love Opera takes a lot less time. That said, my continuing apologies to David for my current Opera holiday I'm taking with Firebird for reasons far too complex to go into.

How to find the really hidden files on your Windows PC. A "really hidden" file/folder is one that cannot be seen in Windows Explorer after enabling it to "show all files", and cannot be seen in MS-DOS after receiving a proper directory listing from root. Yes there's a conspiracy happening right in front of you on your PC even as you sit there reading this.

A guide to the KFC impersonating fried chicken takeaways of the Inner London area. Personal experience has shown that there really are a huge number of these especially around Streatham and Balham (but virtually every shopping street in London has one, including Borough High St., down the road from where I work. I've resisted the urge to go in).
