In an unprecedently quick turn around from idea to delivery I've now completed the lazylaces RSS newsfeed after mentioning it less than a week ago. It turned out to be very quick and easy to code (ie. really simple syndication), and the only real changes I made to the 4 guys code was to convert it from VBScript to JScript. Let me know if there are any problems with it, but it all seemed to be working fine during my testing today.

:Fast work, and it seems to be okay -- except Bloglines thinks your last 10 posts we all made at midnight precisely on the day of posting.
Don't put your debugging cap on just yet though, it might just be because it's the initial feed -- once some new posts refresh it, things might be okay. I'll keep you posted.
Graeme
:Er...actually I know I've put midnight in as the time for all of them as I don't actually record the time of posts - I never thought I would need it way back when I designed the lazylaces database. Maybe I have some extra work to do...
David
:Ah then in that case, have fun revisting 1010 database entries and trying to remember what time it was when you posted each one. ;)
Graeme
:Somehow I think I'll be skipping that part and just adding it in for new entries ;o)
Seventoes
:Lol nice job. il be using that = :D
Daisy
:Works for me. Now all I have to do is remember to open SharpReader every once in a while. Don't suppose you have any back end coding for that?
Daisy
:Um, I should add that I don't open SharpReader because I'm too busy visiting properly, not that I don't want to know if you have any new posts.
*digs frantically out of unintentional and untrue hole*
Graeme
:Daisy: Hmmmm...I don't even know what SharpReader is - an aggregator tool of some kind I'm assuming. I either use Opera or FireFox to read my RSS feeds, that way I never have leave the cozy confines of my browser.
Justin H
:I don't know what you guys are talking about. Anyone?
