PSP Birthday
I actually had a PSP in my hands today (thank you Imran and your Japanese import). A rare thing in the UK (thanks to all my American friends whos' PSP demand has pushed back the UK release to June or something else ridiculous now). I've now moved from really wanting one to having to have one. Sheer awsomeness in a neat little package. I'd just like to note at this point that it's my birthday in 2 weeks time. I don't know why I felt the need to mention that. It's not related to how much I want a PSP at all. It's a completely seperate thing that just popped into my head. Really. Anyway the PSP...fantastic graphics, fantastic sound, great gameplay, and just a stunning design - I might be a little biased but this thing is the business. My order at Amazon still stands, but I could cancel that if say, someone randomly bought me one. *crosses fingers*

Happy Birthday! It's mine in 6 days ^_^
Shame about the PSP delay in Europe isn't it. I'm in the UK too but luckily eBay is on our side. Import one from USA for around £200 ;)

Matt: eBay is looking like a good option, and I know about the time lag on the comments - my technical monkeys are looking into it now (ie I haven't got round to doing anything about it yet).

i got the psp on the first day it came out here, in the u.s., and it's awesome. the graphics will blow you away. don't really like the games they have out for it now, except for dynasty warriors, but hopefully they'll come out with better games for it.

i do wish they had the stripped version here... for people that already have an mp3 player or are not interested in watching movies on it... i'd likely buy the stripped version... but if i gotta pay the extra 100 dollars for the stuff i don't want i think i can wait for whatever is next... i've already had to rent so many final fantasy games and thier system already... besides i heard the next gameboy in line is nearly ready... so i'm sure that will be my purchase of the month... whatever month it happens to be... i don't expect it in the next 6 months... but they did say it could be as early as 3 months... we all know they set very optimistic dates... and we all know i'm cynical and pessimistic... hehe
