Ghost Ship
I'm still waiting for the first film inspired by a point'n'click game, but in the meantime I'll have to content myself with yet another point'n'click game inspired by a film. Ghost Ship is a little too short, but I'm a sucker for spooky graphics and sound, and matching the objects to the locations is quite good fun.

no friendly greetings to Mrs Magician?

Comment 2, Thursday, June 30th 2005 09:05:00 PM

does anything HAPPEN? i've gotten the band (in the screen capture, above), and the captain, and apparently all the objects are in the right place because there's nothing i can pick up anymore. so.....?

Comment 3, Thursday, June 30th 2005 09:06:00 PM

There's an object for each room. A film sequence plays when you have them all.

Comment 4, Thursday, June 30th 2005 09:18:00 PM

ah, i see: you put an object in each room, and then something happens in that room, and then after that you find the place that triggers the film sequence.
not that it makes a whole lot of sense in the end. but nice atmosphere, and gorgeous graphics!

From what I've heard, Ghost Ship was one of the worst horror movies ever, (and it seems like it, too.)

She said she wants to show me something, then everything stopped...

I remember stumbling accross this a few months ago.
I have to admit, I was more impressed with the mini promo game than I was with the actual movie trailer.
Maybe they should have tried to conquer the gaming market instead of the movie market ;o)

Yeah, that movie was awful. The game was very disappointing as well!

Comment 11, Friday, July 1st 2005 12:38:00 AM

The movie was stupid, but the opening and flashback scene was pretty good.

Comment 12, Friday, July 1st 2005 03:17:00 PM

I've got everyting in the right room. Now what am I supposed to do? :S

Comment 13, Friday, July 1st 2005 04:34:00 PM

Ok nevermind. That must be the worst game I have ever played.

Comment 14, Friday, July 1st 2005 04:44:00 PM

wow... that game sucked

Comment 15, Sunday, July 10th 2005 02:58:00 AM

This is a really really bad movie. Belive me, it sucks.
But it's creapy. Is a scary complot.
The soundtrack is from Mudvayne, and it's great.
The game sucks, it's too easy and nothing happends.

Comment 16, Friday, July 22nd 2005 06:39:00 AM

I know this hasn't been commented on in FOREVER but I thought I might defend the movie.

Sure, it's not really scary. It's more of a... suspense type movie... at least that's how it came across to me. I absolutely LOVE twist endings so... you can probably see why I like this movie. ;D Some twist endings aren't so fun... but I liked it.

As far as the game goes... meh, it's okay. I mean, I wasn't expecting anything particularly spectacular. So goo me!
