If you ever get a book, here are the hints:
In order to free the spirit (or get rid of the evil), you need to:
1. get two precious things
2. free the skull in the prison
3. fight the evil by shooting it repeatedly

:as far as i can tell you should be able to find something in a bathroom and in a drawer and you should be able to find enough info to open the box

:ok here we go walkthrough
Click Go
‘read note’
Go right – should be a TV and sofa
Drink potion
You’ll go to sleep
Exit
Go left
Go left
Note down the numbers on the books (there are 3)
Go forward
Look in bottom drawer
Move socks till you find switch in top left corner
Open top drawer
Take lighter
Go forward
Hover over the skull
Write down the sums
Go back to the hall
Go right
Look in cistern
Take diamond
Go back downstairs
Light candles
Go upstairs
Go into the 1st door on your right
Choose the left option (right will kill you)
Go back to the living room
Click box – brings up sums
Put the answer to the sums in the corresponding boxes i.e. + sum answer goes in the + box
Get key
Go back to hall
Go forwards – there is a locked door in front of you
Go through door
Click pc
Click all files – box comes up wanting a number
Put in each of the numbers from the books (I cant remember which one I used – it might change everytime)
Once you have access come back to the hall
Go through the locked door on your right you couldn’t go through before
Get axe
Go back to the skull
Click axe
Go through the hole in wall
Ending! < I won’t tell you what it is but you don’t need a walkthrough for this bit!
