Huntsville

The idea of Huntsville is a little different from your average point'n'click game. Here you are given the list of objects you have to collect and you cross them off your list as your find them amongst the bewildering array of items on the screen. It looks great, and is quite good fun, but the two free levels are over all too quickly, and I don't think I'd pay to play the rest. Most definately worth a look though [subbed by Goofymuffin].

a really really REALLY easy way to do this would be to hit TAB and ENTER alternatingly, but that would make it even less fun. but since i managed with like 2 minutes remaining on the first level, i'd say thats prety unecessary, even though half of the objects don't look anything like what you'd think to look for, and my slow computer taking forever to put each item away.

If anyone has a Gameblast membership, this is one of the games you can download for "free" (there's a monthly charge for the membership). I think you can visit shockwave and get a free 10 day trial if you're just wanting to complete this game. My husband and I have been playing this for about a month now and love it. We'll have races to see who can find all of their items faster.

I have to say, I really liked this and the 2 teaser levels just left me wanting more. I might try out that free 10 day trial...thanks Teeg.

lol, this game really separates the hard-working conscientious carefully-scrutinising types from the rest of us, i just ended up whaling away on the mouse, "clonk clonk clonk-clonk clonk," no brain-power involved whatsoever. ("what else is new," eh Teep?) even using Tab was too much trouble. still fun though -- "oh THAT was the banana! whaddayaknow!"

(but what the H*LL this has to do with being a detective is certainly beyond me.)

lol, you don't give yourself nearly enough credit Tafkam ;o)
...also, maybe on another level you finally manage to brush off your deerstalker, get out your violin and pit yourself amongst the greatest detective of them all...or you could leave it to the CSI guys ;o)

hah, if i can FIND the bloody deerstalker and violin with both hands and my Tab key.

but that's a great idea, you could do a point-and-click hunt for, say, a 10% solution of cocaine. THAT would be motivating!

I dont know about the rest of you but I downloaded the free trial (60 minutes of play *tsk*) and as soon as my time was up my computer had a total spaz attack and my video driver crashed. I had to call my dad in Wisconsin and it took us 20 mins to fix it! Just a warning in case it wasn't just me. Other than that I really liked this game too bad you have to buy it.

I downloaded the free trial with my mom. Took us a total of 3 hours and some odd minutes to complete the game. (Thankfully the free trial let our hour be expanded a bit without going mad.) It was way too much fun and way too addicting. We beat the last big boss level with 8 seconds remaining. A+ family game

Very frustrating that the clock still runs when items are being placed in the inventory. And you can't click on more than one item at a time to collect it!

I became obsessed with this game and went to all my regular download sites to do the"free hour" before I could finish it. For the first time, I actually bought a game, too...just couldn 't get enough! Now, after completing the game, I was able to go in and create another player and do it again. It is a race against the clock for my husband and I because on subsequent games, there are new things and old things in new places. Great game!
