Prince Of Pension
I'm not even sure how Prince Of Pension gets it's name as I don't know enough Russian, and by "enough", I mean "any", to work it out for myself. Anyway I assume the name has been correctly translated by some one, and it doesn't stop you enjoying this point'n'click game (although I suspect it makes it a lot harder). All I've worked out so far is that there are 3 levels of difficulty, dpending upon which character you pick at the begining (they get harder as you go down the page), and it's important to jump over obstacles as you lose a life if you bump into them. Oh, and perhaps most importantly, while you use your mouse for picking objects up, you need to use your cursor keys to move around [subbed by winniethepooh].

This would be more fun if you didn't die so quickly and have to start from the beginning with no inventory. Nichevo!

bumping into things and losing lives like that is kind of ridiculous.

I suspect that "Prince of Pension" is a play on "Prince of Persia". On the other side of the pond, a "pension" (pen-see-own) is a house rented out as apartments.
That bit of etymology shared, I am sure it all makes perfect sense to you.

From NITRO page:

1. Easy (het meisje): Paspoort en GPS-kaart (?).
2. Medium (de jongen): Paspoort, GPS-kaart en pensioen-kaart (?).
3. Hard (de man): Paspoort, GPS-kaart, pensioen-kaart, enveloppe én zegel.

Translation:

1. Easy (the little girl): Passport and Gps-card
2. Medium (the boy): Passport, Gps-card and pension card
3. Rapidly (the man): Passport, Gps-card, pension card, envelope and seal.

Sarah,
I don't think you need to combine items, although I am not positive.

I think you just need to pick up all the keys and the right items (refer to my post #13) according to what character you are playing.

As far as what exacty those items are...I am not sure.

I babblefished everything...

Ooo, that banjo music is enough to make me sick!
To solve you just need to get the requisite items together (drop everything else) and go back to the first room. When you finish, you're rewarded with... a blank screen! Pretty dull.

To avoid obstacles just hit the up arrow and you'll jump over them.

Now there's 7.5 minutes of my life I'll never see again. Cute animation, but mindlessly easy, once you understand what the necessary items are.

Perhaps the name is a strange play on the words, "Prince of Persia"? Just a guess.

less like point'n'click, more like cursor key operated. maybe we need a new category for these games.

okay so this is totaly off topic but I have this huge urge too play a game that was posted here a while ago and I was wondering if Any one knew the name of it. It's the one where you click to get the guy to run then click again to have him jump on the bed then he jumps off the bed and strums a note on his quitar and shoots an object out of the hotel window and it lands some where... I really really want to play it.

The words "Persia" and "Pension" sound very similar in Russian so I'm guessing that's where the pun is coming from. "Persia" v. "Pensia". I haven't played the game yet, so I don't know if the title would make sense even in the game's context.
