The Big House is a point'n'click game that features a house and... um.... it's big. I'd love to be able to tell you more, like what the point of the game is, but I'm really not sure - I managed to go outside very easily and the game didn't end, so I'm guessing it's not "escape the house". The locked door on the second floor is quite tantalizing, I managed to find a key, but it did not open the door, perhaps the "point" of the game is behind the door. Anyway aside from the fact that I never worked out the objective of the game, and I got a bit dizzy going in and out of doors and turning around all the time, the game has some nice graphics and lighting the fire is quite satisfying [subbed by frustrated, SolitaryRaven, oxyacetylene & winniethepooh].

Grumpyinboise
:when you go to the door and try to open it does the pointer flip anyone else off? what the hell is that about
Eup
:yeah, just got through the door, after he gave me the finger several times
Em
:There's something unsettling about this game that I can't quite put my finger on...anyone else feel that way too?
HeatherS
:I agree Em. I kind of felt like something was going to jump out on me any minute. Maybe it's because it's so quiet and dim. I think it lacks music or something.
Rolo
:Where do you get the code for the door from?
Roxy
:I can't open the door, the pattern don't mach!...
Roxy
:I think that I must knock on every rectangle of the door... but... The first is 0?
Tracey
:To open the door at the top of the stairs click the panels in the following order....
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
middle, bottom left, top right, and bottom right.
Roxy
:thank you so much, Tracey!
Tracey
:You are very welcome. lol.
Melanie
:I've never posted before.. everyone alwasy asks the questions before me! but i cant open the upstairs door - even if i follow Tracey's instructions
Em
:Heather: Phew, for a moment I was starting to feel like a big chicken, lol! You're right, the lack of music and lighting make it eerie...and the strange water stains on the carpet that look like footprints...*shivers*
Melanie
:And does anyone else find that you have to wait for the game to re-load when going between floors?
Melanie
:No worries - the door opened.. at last!
Kat
:the big question is............will it actually lo0ad uo........or be stuck on 14% forever
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Chro
:I have used the combination given earlier but nothing is happening. What is the right order for the panels and the number of knocks?
Melanie
:Chro - i found the order to be as described by Tracey - but you have to do it in rapid succession - then the 'finger' turns into a flat palm style hand.. thing. then it should open!
Melanie
:where is the door
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
to enter the code from the corkboard?
Purdyflower
:yeah, the first floor, sorta reminded me of a Silent hill type. I really liked this game, it was fun, and lasted a while
Melanie
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
you have to play the piano first, and then the door will apear by the book shelf in the living room area, where there is also the laundry room and stuff.
Melanie
:Thanks Purdyflower.. methinks i'm at last on my way to freedom!
Kdsnail
:cannot locate any candles or cd :(

TJanell
:I'm with you AliE. I can't read the music to play the song.

Kathy
:im free!!!!!!!
Emma
:HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
Door code changes, so check the note on the clip board for your own code for your own game! :)
Jman
:great game. great graphics. fianlly escaped. you need to play 9 notes on the piano. there are only 6 usable keys so it takes some practice if you dont know sheet music, you have do do it by ear.
