Submachine 2 - The Lighthouse
Remember the point'n'click game "Submachine"? Well if you do you'll be pleased to hear that the sequel, Submachine 2 - The Lighthouse, is here, if you don't then play the original now before continuing so you're not missing out. I'll hand over to game creator murtaugh for a full description of "The Lighthouse":

A sequel to the world's famous point'n'click Submachine game, that grabbed minds of millions of people. I received a huge feedback from all around the world, most of demands stated to make the second game bigger with harder puzzles. So here it is, while the first game had 20 rooms, this one has a total of 98 unique rooms, and the puzzles are a lot tougher, but that's just my subjective opinion, since I can't really tell if they are or not. Important notice: this game has NO dead ends, you cannot get to the point of no return, where the only option is to reset the game. No such thing in The Lighthouse. Hope you'll enjoy this game as much as I enjoyed making it, and sure enough, submachine3 is under construction as we speak, so expect more. Flash Plugin 8 required to play this game.

Thanks murtaugh, and good luck everybody.

Hello all,

Need a bit of a boost...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Does anybody have any thoughts on the 4-digit code which is found by going left after you use the switch handle and make it up further (to the left before the portal room)? I think it has something to do with the hints received throughout the game (eg. c=3), but I am stumped for the moment....

Thanks,

Dan

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Solved the dots puzzle in the tunnel and gotten the switch handle. I have the coils, 8 secret items, cat letter, liz letter, light bulb. I can't get into the third floor. Or are you even supposed to?

Comment 129, Wednesday, June 14th 2006 12:54:00 AM

Robert

:
Dan B and Johno,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The solution is based of E= MC squared, the equation made famous by Einstein the time-teleporting Dr. Who imitator. C is obvious, and M is retrieved at the end of a letter.

Johno,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the goal of that puzzle it to get them to all touch the circle in the center, turning the four lights green- it's one of those puzzles that just takes a bit of perseverence, give it a shot.

Ha! nevermind! I figured out the code...

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

where is fuse/where does idcard go/where is key for green square door

Comment 132, Wednesday, June 14th 2006 12:56:00 AM

Robert

:
Sam, by 'key' do you mean the combo? It's in a picture...

The fuse is found by using a key near the place the idcard is used, which you need the result of the green square to get.
