They light up if you've got them in the righ order. Try getting one to light up first. Then try a second one. It's not that hard. I can't remember the specific order (and it might not be the same every time), but it wasn't too difficult.

move comment box, leftmost dark brown panel, moved to side(rt. I think)

1. The piece of CAKE is under the Inventory panel.
2. The SCREWDRIVER is hidden in the light brown floorboard, second from the lower Left corner. Move the dialog box out of the way.
3. A NOTE is found under a secret panel in the dark brown floorboard just above where you found the screwdriver. Pull the secret panel to the Left. You have to find the iPod before you can enter the Movie name. MOVIE NAME: Power Rangers. Case sensitive. See page 1 Comment by E if you can't find it.
4. Use the Tab key to get rid of SPONGEBOB. There isn't any other way. You have to Tab for a long time to completely get rid of him or you can also tab until he is just a thin horizontal line. You are only trying to uncover the 4th screw in the red ceiling panel.
5. You don't have to catch the BEETLE. You don't need it for anything.
6. The BALLOONS are under the red ceiling panel. Use the screwdriver to unscrew it. Move it to the right. You will also see a red button on the green ceiling after you move the red panel out of the way.
7. RED BUTTONS - there are 5 red buttons. 1 on green ceiling, 2 under Left hand flowers/purple vase, 1 under Right hand flowers/terracotta pot, and 1 under a secret panel in the upper right hand corner of the white wall with the window in it, next to the ceiling. Move the panel to the Left.
8. ORDER OF BUTTONS - upper right hand corner button, button under right flower of purple flower vase, button under right flower of terracotta pot, button under middle flower of purple flower vase, green ceiling button. They get bright red when you click them in the correct order.
9. SECRET PANEL in lower right corner of wall moves aside when you get the buttons correct. Click iPod to add to Inventory. NOW you can put in the Movie name to the note on the floor.
10. MOVIE NAME: Power Rangers
11. The CROCODILE shows up. Feed him the CAKE. He gives you a SOCCER BALL/FOOTBALL.
12. Throw ball at the yellow wall.
13. Black monolith with eyes shows up. Give it the BALLOONS.
14. Find PETROL can under topmost cloud. Drag Petrol to Black monolith person. Find MATCH under 2nd cloud. Light match on SUN. Drag to Black monolith person and click.
15. Enjoy cutscene.
16. Click on Monolith person where the balloons attach. She becomes a rocket and flies away.
17. Click on panel on lower rear rocket fin of red-white rocket. Try to decipher note.
18. Middle panel of red and white rocket has a secret panel. Drag white panel aside and you will see a "?". Type "secret" in the invisible dialog box (white on white) at the question mark and hit "enter/return".
19. After the rocket crashes into the bathroom, you are now looking for 7 pieces/rungs to construct a LADDER so you can climb down the hole to escape. The steps are plain white thin rectangles.
20. If you click the hole in the floor, you will get a dialog box in the upper left corner that tells you how many pieces of the ladder you have.
21. LOCATION OF LADDER STEPS: At right edge of lower dialog box; upper left corner at edge of game above door; above and just to the right of the toilet flush handle - it looks like it is part of the toilet tank top -#3; between the toilet and the shower stall near the floor - #4; move white panel between toilet and sink/basin to the left for #5; move that panel back and move blue secret panel next to it -#6, and #7 is at the bottom of the door.
22. Click left inside of the hole and the ladder magically appears there. Click the little alien.
23. Enjoy the cutscenes. You're out!!
