Something Amiss #1 is the opening part of what promises to be, going on the graphics at least, a very nice point'n'click series. You go for an MRI scan. Unusual. You wake up alone, and locked in a room. Aha - and there we go adventuring... [subbed by anon, Annie, Ariadne & franki1368].

It takes ages to load but it is a very short game.
To handle items you must keep the mouse button pressed and chose an action.

never mind being locked in a room. the fact "they" sedated her for an m.r.i. is what i find disturbing. i've had one and they don't sedate you for that kind of test. or they shouldn't anyway. and what's with the coin? you are not supposed to have any metal on or near you durring an m.r.i. scan. and where are her clothes? i know it's standard to wear the scrubs for it but where did "they" put her clothing? not to mention anything else she had with her before going in? was it voluntary? the beginning sujests so. (not a type-o).
maybe it's like 28 days later... or 12 monkeys, or alpha ville.

For anyone still having trouble - the Help tab provides very clear instructions. Nice interface when you get used to it. A little predictable for the item use. Still, it's an interesting look, and fairly intuitive. I'd like to see more. : )

Hey Botzi, here's some info for you. As an epileptic I've had several MRIs, and they can be done with sedation if necessary (for example if you're in status epillepticus or sustained seizure). The result of metal being "on or near you" is why the coin appears where it does. "Her" clothes are an item that would be in the prep room - not the MRI room - along with her other belongings (like those metal keys we all carry). Finally, the name of the game, "Something Amiss" has kinda provided a get-out-of-incongruity-free card to them. Smile - it's just a game. Really.
