2D Depot

I'm sure that many a moon ago I posted 2D Depot under a different name when it was still just a demo. I'll be damned if I can find it now of course. Anyway, this adventure game thing has been around for a while and occasionally gets bits added to it. The goals aren't obvious, but half the point of the thing seems to be work out what you can do, and just experiment. And while you are doing that you can gawk at the lovely graphics and then curse at the fact that it's presented in isometric layout and uses the cursor keys for navigation ([space] for actions), which is a combination of game elements that always seems to elicit lots of curses from Lazylacers [subbed by Leah, Misty, anon & winniethepooh].

No problem, I don't know how far you able to go in this game. It's not fully completed yet, but it does have more content.

I've had no luck with the box on the wardrobe, maybe it can't be gotten yet.

You will have something else to talk to the fortune teller about... once you discover it...

I would say not, it does get new bits added to it from time to time.

Does anyone know if you can get items again after cooking them or do you have to restart? Thanks.

Restarting would be a pain though...

LoganX, when you cook something that belongs together, the ingredients are gone, but you get something new. When they don't belong together, you get something smelly, but your ingredients are not gone.

I made the recipe (may have been wrong) with the tentacle but couldn't see how to use it, I don't know if you can go further or not, and my items were used up. But just now I combined the tentacle with he chocolate and my items were used up also. but have tried the recipe with that yet

Thanks

I have to say this game has completely lost me, I reckon it must be a work in progress because a lot doesn't work, I can get the computer to list files but then I can't do anything with them, it says the ixplorer is in progress, and either I just can't figure it out, or you can't use your inventory except for cooking. I've managed to cook a chocotacle and that's it.

Oh and tetris is broken, on levels 8 and 9 as soon as you remove a line it says game over. Anybody completed the sokoban game on the ps2? Does that do anything?

How did you get level 2? Did you find some more items?

Been trying to make a rudimentary map of hell's crux on a piece of paper, but if there aren't any other places to go, there's not really any point.

SPOILERS/HINTS: Use the special <spoiler>, or <hint>, tags by wrapping them around your comment if you want to provide help in games comment threads. 'Wrap a tag' around your comment by placing one tag in front of your comment, and one tag after. See the examples below:
  • Just type a regular comment.

  • <hint>Wrap hints for games in hint tags</hint>.
If you are still stuck, try copying and pasting one of the examples above into the comment box, or use the hint & spoiler buttons.

Simply enter the email address from your Gravatar account in the email field when adding your comment if you would like to use this feature.
