How did you light the fire?

Comment 65, Thursday, June 28th 2007 07:51:56 PM

Cele

:
for the fireplace:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
put the wood in the fireplace, take the letter from the window and put in on top of the wood. then take the match and hold it close to the paper and the fire will burn. I think, you don't need the matchbox for it. I had it in my invetory, but didn't use it actually.

OK, I finally caught up with everyone else and got stuck, and now I have to leave! I guess by the time I get back it will be solved.

But riddle me this:
Does anyone have more than 4 slips of paper with binary?

And why are we helping this guy anyway? He's kind of a loser.

Although rehab would probably be a better fit than a nuthouse.

Good luck!

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

Werewolf

Vicky: You might be missing the one that's
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
in the coat and shirt - look in the collar, and it should lift up.

If you have that one, have a look at my post for some other possible locations. :)

4 notes, only 2 arrows, fire's burning... and now what?...

Comment 79, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:05:23 PM

Werewolf

:
I haven't even seen an axe in this game yet - where is it?

Comment 80, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:06:08 PM

Werewolf

:
Chacha: By arrows, do you mean darts? There should be one more in the same place as you got the first two, but you might have to right-click and zoom in to differentiate it from the background.

Comment 81, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:08:30 PM

Chacha

:
we even can't warm the pasta up :(
Werewolf, no axe either

Comment 82, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:09:31 PM

Cele

:
I can't move the collar.

And I had an idea for the dartboard:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
maybe the number for the safe behind it has something to do with the places you hit with the darts. I know, there are numbers for the cells like 15 and twenty, but I don't know, which number belongs to which cell. And now the board is lying behind the desk, and I can't remember, where the darts hit it.

Comment 83, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:09:55 PM

Chacha

:
thanks Werewolf! yes, darts, of course...

Comment 84, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:10:49 PM

JPO

:
Axe.....

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
In the toolbox that is in the sofa cushion.

Comment 85, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:10:58 PM

Chacha

:
3 darts !

Comment 86, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:12:08 PM

Werewolf

:
JPO: The box is locked, and I can't find a key - could you help us out with that please? :)

Comment 87, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:13:21 PM

JPO

:
Have you been able to open the big floor safe?

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
You will need 5 "rags of paper" to form a code to convert.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The roll of paper tells you how to convert the code

Comment 92, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:18:10 PM

Werewolf

:
So far, I've only been able to find four. I think that's as many as anyone (except yourself) has been able to find, unless they just haven't mentioned it yet.

Comment 93, Thursday, June 28th 2007 08:18:30 PM

Werewolf

:
Sarah: Just click on each dart, and it should take them automatically. You might have to click a couple of times until you hit just the right place. :)

There is a note in the wall safe that tells you where the 5 pieces of paper are. Have you gotten into the wall safe?
