you can use the lantern to start a fire in the sticks. What ever good that does.....???

I went to the other island and looked through to binoculars, but didn't pay attention to what happened by the gate. Can someone tell med what happened???? Im guessing it will tell med how to go through the gate......

ive already start a fire but i dont know what it does yet
i do know what happend though the binoculars hellek!
1 the guy knocked the gate
2 the guy on the other side moved the left mask on the gate a bit
3 the guy that knocked the gate moved that same mask to
4 the gate openend
