Gimme Friction Baby might seem like a throw-away arcade game with very little to it, but it's not the winner of Jay's 3rd game design comp without good reason. I was unconvinced at first too, but this thing is adictting. I won't bore you with details of how to play, partially because I am, of course, inherently lazy, and partially because part of the pleasure of this game is discovering how to play. Once you get into it though you'll find yourself coming back to it whenever you have a moment, and you'll become proud of insanely (seemingly) low scores - getting points seems incredibly difficult (or maybe it's just me). My hi-score currently is 18, but I'm sure I can beat that is I have just
