You can tell because it looks like someone is tryinh to push open a door that is locked, but even then if you move too sloow he's gonna getcha anyway!!=(

Very nice walkthrough and tips. Which are all true. A lot of people don't wait for the moving doors and expect them to be...jerking violently when they put their flashlight on them immediately or something...which is complete ridiculousness.

I didn't know you could pause and watch doors. Nice tips. It's such a shame you can't see what the boogeyman looks like...=[ I mean you see blood but no weapon or face...*sigh* Got me all excited for nothin.

TIPS + WALKTHROUGH

1) Do not open moving doors.
2) If you approach a door that is not moving, just wait a bit. Sometimes the doors don't move right away. You CAN get killed by opening a door that looks still, because it hasn't "moved" yet. It can take up to 10 seconds for a door to move if it's trapped.
3) Don't dawdle. Your flashlight WILL die.
4) Doors will rattle if you are paused. If you do not want to waste precious battery energy on waiting to see if a door is deadly, just pause and wait. Energy isn't wasted while the game is paused.
5) The path is not random; the boogeyman will always be behind the same doors.



WALKTHROUGH
1) You start in a room with two doors: one to your left, another to your right. The boogeyman is behind the left door, so open the door to the right!
2) You are at a T-junction hallway. Do not go right; there is a boogeyman behind the door. The left is barricaded, so go forward. There is a door to the left, and a door to the right; go left.
3) In this room, there is a door to the right of the window and one to the left. Go through the door to the left of the window; you've entered a bathroom. Continue forward through the next door, and into another room.
4) As soon as you enter the room, turn immediately left; enter the door nearby. Do not enter the door by the window!
5) In the hallway, turn immediately right and go down the stairs. At the bottom, turn right and go through the door at the very end of the hallway.
6) In this large room, there are two doors; one by the window, and one away from the window. Go through the door that is away from the window.
7) You will be on a covered patio. Go through the door that is immediately to your left (not by the screen windows).
8) You are in a bloody kitchen. Go through the door to the right of the fridge.
9) Go through the door near the windows.
10) There are two doors here; one near the window, and one away from the window. Go through the door away from the window.
11) You will be in a large room that is past the barricade. Go through the door to your right and you are home free!
12) Get a lot of gasoline and burn that crazy house down!!!
