Gorilla vrs. Phil Collins vrs. Chocolate

Clearly if you want to promote chocolate the best way of doing it is to use a Gorilla drumming a Phil Collins song. You don't have to be a marketing genius to know that. Unnecessary, random, somewhat silly, but still great.

SoundonUSA: Maybe they'll think of posting comments on random web sites that include links to their latest wireless headphones products?

It's different I suppose but I realy don't see what an ugly gorilla playing drums has to do with chocolate. There aim of getting a point across was lame. I don't think I want to be thinking of a big ugly gorilla everytime I'm enjoying chocolate... It's sort of neat but it realy doesn't fit I realy don't get it aside from the fact that it's cool seeing a gorilla use drums thats it. I think even I could come up with better adverts, I mean if it diddn't say Cadburys you wouldn't even know what the advert was for... Just my opinion but it's nothing realy to do with chocolate.

This is not a good ad and do not appreciate it being on your website. There is no need for it and it the ad is stupid it proves to people that animals can be exploited for no reason its sick!!

it made me watch and i thought it was good with the rhythm. it had a good feeling of strength. however, the advert was way too long. the novelty of a monkey playing the drums can only last so long.

oh and louise - i dont mean to be rude but this advert isnt about animal rights. if ure gonna go down that road, what about 'watch my chops' the cartoon with corniel the talking dog? hes being supressed by his owner. yes its a cartoon but think of the representation of talking dogs throughout the world! god. excuse my sarcasm but there's too many people worrying about political correctness and 'controversial' media.

Louise: I'm not sure making a computer generated gorilla drum is exploiting animals.

oh and its a man in a monkey suit.
Comment 23, Thursday, 06 Sep 2007 20:09:48

Is it a man in a suit, or CGI? I haven't made my mind up yet. Either way it's NOT a real gorilla.

Wot a brill advert! A gorilla playing drums has no connection to a bar of chocolate but yet lots of people are talking about it!! Whoever thought this up is very clever! I love this track!

It's not a real gorilla or Phil Collins but someone in a gorilla suit!

Help With Adding Comments:
SPOILERS/HINTS: Use the special <spoiler>, or <hint>, tags by wrapping them around your comment if you want to provide help in games comment threads. 'Wrap a tag' around your comment by placing one tag in front of your comment, and one tag after. See the examples below:
  • Just type a regular comment.
  • <spoiler>Wrap spoilers for games in spoiler tags</spoiler>.
  • <hint>Wrap hints for games in hint tags</hint>.
If you are still stuck, try copying and pasting one of the examples above into the comment box, or use the hint & spoiler buttons.

AVATARS/GRAVATARS: Comments now support Gravatars if you would like to use your own user avatar/picture/icon on your comments. Simply enter the email address from your Gravatar account in the email field when adding your comment if you would like to use this feature. This is purely optional though, and you do not need an Avatar, or a Gravatar account, to use the comments. Note that if you enter your email address in the email field, but it's not associated with a Gravatar account a default avatar image will be used.
