Sphere Core
A strange soundtrack keeps you company as you play the strange game that is Sphere Core. Not so strange is the goal: escape the room. That part is as familiar as an old comfy sweater [subbed by handyrman, karstenmp, PnCAddict, Mystery & anon].

Comment 6, Tuesday, October 16th 2007 09:40:03 PM

use the screwdriver to open the panel. Take all three items, and use one of them in the enertron with the hot water in the other side.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
code: check the wallpaper and when you find the #'s go to the cylinder machine on the floor and input the code you found. NOTE: 1 is the first character that you see 2 is the next and so on

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

On starting the game, click towards the bottom of the screen (just above the inventory) to look down at the floor. Remove the floorboards and collect the screwdriver and the glass. The starting screen will be referred to as "North".
Go to the west wall and collect the kettle from the table.
Also collect the tile with part of the circuit board on from the right enertron alcove.
Go to the south screen. Open the cupboard door and remove the wooden tile containing the second part of the circuit board.
Drag the kettle from the inventory to the sink, in order to fill the kettle.
Use the screwdriver on the four screws around the metal plate on the wall, to remove it. When it falls off, collect the two power cores and the remote from inside.
There is a piece of wallpaper just above the sink which can be clicked on. Doing so will reveal the code to the Cryo Unit (534).
Just above and to the left of the sink is a tile which can be clicked. This is the final piece of circuit board.
Click on the Cryo Unit, and enter the code (534). The numbers ARE in english, they are just heavily modified (perhaps the digits 3 and 4 are the most recognisable, the rest are 1, 2 and 5, it should be simple to work out which is which as they are in order).
Remove the frozen embryo from the cryo unit.
Go to the east screen. Drag each of the tiles collected so far onto the tile rack on the right of the screen, in order to reveal the pieces of the puzzle.
Drag the puzzle pieces from their rack onto the circuit board. When a piece is dragged onto a part of the puzzle, it will lock in place until the power button is pressed. If you make a mistake, just press the power button and it will release the pieces so they can be corrected. When the puzzle is correctly assembled, press the power button to activate the power to the magnetic coils under the sphere.
Go back to the Enertron (west). Drag the kettle back to it's stand in order to boil the water.
Drag the glass onto the kettle to create a glass of hot water.
Drag the embryo from the Inventory onto the left alcove of the enertron. Drag the first power core to the right alcove. Hit the power button to create the Ice Power Core. Remove the power core and embryo from the enertron.
Repeat the above process with the glass of hot water and the second power core to create the Hot Power Core.
Go back to the Sphere.
Click the remote button in the inventory to make the sphere remote visible on the screen.
Click button 1 (same symbols from the cryo unit) to open the Sphere Iris.
Drag the Ice Power Core into the hole and close the iris again.
Press button 2 to cause the sphere to levitate, and lower it's legs.
Press button 3 to activate the Head. This is as far as you can get using the Ice Core. The Sphere needs more power to move onto the next stage.
Remove the Ice Power Core and replace it with the Hot Power Core. The machine will still not activate it's the 4th button until it's target is ready:
Go to the south screen, and click on the large screw in the floor until it is at it's highest setting. Drag the Ice Power Core ontop of the screw.
Go back to the north and press button 4. A beam of energy should be fired by the head, and strike the Ice Power Core, converting it into the Super Power Core. Click on it to collect it.
Go back to the north screen, remove the Hot Power Core, and insert the Super Power Core.
Press button 5 on the remote. The Sphere should open, and begin charging up for it's final ability.
After a short animation, the sphere will vanish, taking with it part of the room, leaving a hole in the wall. Click on the hole to Escape.

Comment 15, Tuesday, October 16th 2007 10:08:38 PM

This game is kinda glitchy. :( I didn't get to finish it because I accidentally used up an item and couldn't get it back.

Comment 16, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 07:39:36 AM

di, there are 4 screws in the corners-you just cant see the bottom ones very well

Comment 19, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 11:08:34 AM

prof you just drag the screwdriver to the screws and they become pinpricks

Comment 20, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 11:16:22 AM

In the walkthrough it states drag a glass onto the kettle to get a glass of hot water. Might I ask what glass?

Comment 21, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 12:15:31 PM

Never mind I'm being completely stupid today :S I've just re-read walkthrough and have discovered where the glass is....lol

Comment 22, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 12:17:48 PM

Comment 23, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 02:17:55 PM

Comment 24, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 04:18:54 PM

i put the cold power core into the weird machine before creating the hot power core. now i can't put the glass of hot water or the other power core into the enertron.

Comment 25, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 04:21:14 PM

Translating the number code to the symbols on the cryo tube makes no sense to me, I give up for now. My PNC patience is thin today I guess. Good luck to those that try.

Comment 26, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 06:26:50 PM

This is the stupidest game I had ever seen. The screws were near impossible to be unscrewed. Is this a game to test your ability to unscrew the screws? This game really suck!!!!

Comment 27, Thursday, October 18th 2007 04:12:59 AM

screws screwed me

Comment 28, Sunday, October 21st 2007 09:28:30 AM

can anyone tell me WHERE to click on the wallpaper? I found the tile and assume that the wallpaper is above it, but cannot find the code anywhere! (Please help!)

Comment 29, Sunday, October 21st 2007 05:06:34 PM

Am I just stupid? I can't figure out how to make the circuits work. There's only three, right?

Comment 30, Monday, October 22nd 2007 04:06:55 AM

Nope, I'm stupid. There's four. *sigh*

I also cannot
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
drag the hot water cup to the Electron machine thingie, though I was successful in making the Ice Power Core
.... beans.

Comment 33, Thursday, November 1st 2007 03:52:17 PM

I think there's a glitch at the end... I'm following the walkthrough but
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
when I put the Ice Power Core on the screw, and then click to go to another screen, the Core is still sitting in the middle of the screen, and when I press the button on the remote, nothing happens.
Anybody else get this problem?

Comment 34, Thursday, November 1st 2007 05:32:21 PM

i cant do the puzzle!!!!

Comment 35, Monday, November 5th 2007 01:06:47 PM

Cam + Kim

Cammy and Kim completed it, 20 mins of ICT left. Got stuck at the bit before the embroyo and charging power cores so cheated slightly with the walk through.
Good luck to all other peeps attempting it...
