ASUE 1: The Horse
ASUE is an abbreviation that stands for the mouthful that is "A Series of Unexpected Escapes" and ASUE 1: The Horse is thus the first in a series of escape the room games, this one unexpectedly involving a horse. Not that unexpectedly though, given that I've just told you, not to mention that it's in the game title. Anyway... The game is a quick one, if more than a little bizarre, and you'll soon taste freedom. Using the counter that triggers when you collect your first object though you can then compete against others to get the best score on the hi-score table. Just remember though, that it's the taking part that counts [subbed & created by Shi Daniels].

Grab the jam
open drawer, take glove
face horse, click glove then jam
This is then what felt like pixl hunting, click the horse's rump, you'll get jam on it, keep clicking in that area, you'll see a bee, keep clicking you'll get out.

Isn't the room completely copied from Blue Chamber, of the guy who created Crimson Room? It seems there was not much effort put in this game...

Wow, that was easily the most bizarre game I've ever played. And it must've been the first one I've not needed some kind of help on too!

I think the "unexpected" part is the fact that you use the horse to escape rather than doing unmentionable things to it. I liked the humor, and the insinuations. It's all in your mind.

It was NOT random to put jam on the bottom. It all seemed too familiar to me... jam on the horsebottom. That recollects some memories from my childhood... mmmm... never mind.

Yeah, the game's a tad wierd, but the real fun in this game is in the walkthrough which is so thoughtfully supplied on the opening screen .. duh! It's a hoot, more entertaining than the game iteself.

I cannot believe you actually posted 2 walkthroughs for this puzzle, I did it without help and that is unheard of, so it must have been super easy lol

Hi all,

Thanks for playing this little game which originally began as a webcomic piss-take on the EFTR genre of games. (the walkthrough shows the comic) It was basically based on the infamous Blue Chamber, as Flying Mandarine pointed out but a substantial amount of work was put into it. The gameplay was different, the concept was different and the overall aim of the game was different. You could say I rented the set up of the original game as the base of ASUE1. I plan to make future episodes a parody, if you will, of other largely 'famous' EFTR games. That has always been the orignal plan. :)

I'm currently making ASUE2 which should be up, hopefully, by the end of next week.

See you then!
