Launchball
In Launchball you have a guide a ball through a block based screen, with each kind of block having different effects on the ball, by placing various devices into the mix to force the ball along the correct path. It sounds (in my very tortured description) like an arcade meets logic style game, but because this game is from the London Science Museum, and the game is all very scientific, this actually is educational and you're learning science stuff as you play.... but good luck explaining that to your tutor/spouse/boss/parents, that you're "expanding your mind", rather than "wasting time", as you play... oops... did I say "play", I meant "learn", obviously. And be sure to mention that I'm just filing this under "games" as I don't have a "science" section [subbed by Toby].

I concur CLEME Y FORDTE, lazy laces does rock. I've been playing these games for ages. I'm soaking them up for inspiration for when I make it as a game designer, going to uni next year to study it. thanks for the bucket loads of inspiration Greame.

Light fantastic

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
place one slope in the in the top right corner above the solar cell. place the other slope in the 3rd space up from the first fan. both slopes should have their corners facing top right. hope that makes sense!

reflect perfect

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
first slope needs to be directly under the 4th fan - squared side pointing bottom right. second slope needs to be under the 4th green brick (leave one space below it) - squared corner pointing top right. third slope needs to be directly under the second last fan - squared corner pointing bottom left.

I would put screen shots in if I could!
