sooooo, I'm

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
on the smugglers ship, and I've looked at the grappling hook, tobacco rope, weight with feathers on it, smuggler's lantern, and cudgel with blood on it
and I guess I need to do something else but I seem to be stuck. Any thoughts?

I can't get the cannon to light, is there a trick to it?
Comment 11, Monday, March 31st 2008 08:35:26 PM

Comment By Pdl
yeah the cannon part sucks...if you move the stick pretty quickly the flame bends a little but that's about it, I'm not getting it to light up either.

Comment By Karisma
Nah. Just move it around the wick. It'll catch.

Comment By MonochromeMolly
Ahh. There IS kind of a trick to it...
You can't just put the torch over the wick and leave it, you have to hold the mouse button down until it lights.
Just finished this Chapter, Wasn't as impressed with this chapter as I was with the others. There was only one game, and one challenge , to get the keys. It wasn't as challenging as the others. Hope the next one is better.

Comment By MonochromeMolly
I agree, Dreamspinnergal. The only real challenge was that stupid cannon, and not in a good way!

So who do you guys think the mastermind is, the one we will uncover in the final chapter?

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

I love these games! I wish the creator would put out a whole big consecutive game on DVD-ROM or Playstation or something like that. Five episodes isn't enough for me!!! I want more! =]

Pah - That was no where as good as the other ones. The only challengey bit was taking the key and that was hardly difficult. Must do better.

Any thoughts on whether exceeding the target score on the shuffleboard-esque tavern game produces more esteem than just matching the target score does?

MonochromeMolly and Mtabprox,
I don't think our archvillain is
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Ned Roach.
He was right in front of

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
James Ward when the Runner interrogated him.
Would have he stood right there wothout doing nothing?
I'd rather bet on

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
our good old Nathaniel Crouch.

Ned Roach you say? Nathaniel Crouch maybe?

I think the arch-villain has to be someone in a position of considerable power - someone who could cause harm to the smugglers' families if they blagged on him -- and yet someone who's voice is familiar to our runner. My vote goes to ...
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Fielding himself!

SPOILERS/HINTS: Use the special <spoiler>, or <hint>, tags by wrapping them around your comment if you want to provide help in games comment threads. 'Wrap a tag' around your comment by placing one tag in front of your comment, and one tag after. See the examples below:
 • Just type a regular comment.
 • <spoiler>Wrap spoilers for games in spoiler tags</spoiler>.
 • <hint>Wrap hints for games in hint tags</hint>.
If you are still stuck, try copying and pasting one of the examples above into the comment box, or use the hint & spoiler buttons.
