Following on from The Great Kitchen Escape we now move on to the sequel in The Great Living Room Escape. Looks like we'll be making our way around the whole house to that funky soundtrack [subbed by Von].

Walkthrough:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Rooms going clockwise (right)
1st room: Open the third drawer. Click the orange string-like thing. (Rubber)
2nd room: Click the glasses. Click the right lens to pick it up.
Click the straw in the drink.
3rd room: Click the globe to open it. Get the steriods (little pill jar in front.)
Click the rope on the right side of the curtain.
4th room: Click the umbrella.
Click the hamster in the cage.
Now to combine the items:
1) Click the umbrella and combine it with the rope. It will turn into a fishing pole.
2) Click the lens and the straw. It will turn into a snorkle mask.
3) Feed the hamster the steroids. Not so cute anymore, huh?
Give the hamster the snorkle mask and then the fishing rod. Click on the fish tank and put the hamster in. Get the key, use it on the door and you're out!!

I want to know what happens to the hamster? Does he live happily ever after as the biggest hamster ever? Does he take over the house? Does he get a baseball contract?
Huzzah!
Six minutes!
The very first excape-the-room I've done entirely without help, I suppose my mind works much like the makers of this game. That would be quirky I assume.
Wholly enjoyable.

Cute, simple game...
Although i have to admit that the combining part of the game did get me a little frustrated to begin with since the items had specific click areas......

Ditto to Missy... I had to get a hint just to find out what I was trying should be working.
All in all very fun, like the music and graphics, like the ingenuity. WAY too short and easy though. At that length you should be able to put out a couple of these a week... please?

What a fun little game! I really enjoyed it.
Comment By Lady Lark
This was hysterical! Love the graphics and the premise. Extra points for creativity. You're right, Aeosstraley, Hopping Ham would never do this and never, ever take steroids! He's squeaky clean. This guy is now too heavy to qualify for the Hamster Dance. I wonder he went on to become the first Hamster Sumo Wrestler?
Comment By Biggs
Ditto to Lady Lark. Was the hamster harmed during the making of this game?.
By the way Happy burfday Graeme X. Beat me to it by one day, I'm the 15th. Ok maybe a year or twelve before you.

Graeme, hope you had a blast on your birthday and woke up today with no hang-over :)
Wouldn't it be nice if they put out at least a couple of these a week as Jac begs? But making even the simpliest escape the rooms kinda game is not that easy. Some gamers make them in a day, but then the graphics suffer, storyline's not good, playability sucks, puzzles within the game is not creative and with crappy music or none at all(I actually prefer no music and no language PnC's). You guys might not notice but each frame takes a while as the maker have to make sure all the details match in the frames of the same side of the room(close up, or zoomed in/out view). It makes it especially harder when you have to do all graphics from scratch and you are trying to make the room look if not totally awesome/pretty, at least a bit cute. VERY HARD when the gamer is not an artist at all and cannot draw to save his/her life.
But we can wish these wonderful game makers would make more games as we players become more hungrier for these game phenomenon called point and click games. Ahh, we sure can wish. :)
And before I end my spiel, thank you to the gamers who makes it possible for a lot of people to enjoy your free games online(hate downloadables), may you keep on having the interest and the patience to shower us with more escape the room games. :) Once again, thank you game makers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You, gossip girl, we're trying our best ;)
there will be more 'the great escape' games in this series. The guy that's drawing it is incredible, I admit.
I would have never done it better. probably some dark submachine would pop out once again. or depressing 10gnomes :D:D:D

Hi, Murtaugh!(One of my favorite game authors!) :)
Ooohhh, a dark submachine? Groovy! lol Love that series of yours.
More gnomes would be received well, I'm pretty sure. :) Theyre quite cute in a way. :D And if you don't want them depressing, then clown your gnomes. :D But however they come out, you know you have a LOT of LOYAL followers that will play whatever you put out.
Waiting for Mr. Skutnik's Games,

Very fun game, loved everything about it and the music reminded me somewhat of a upbeat funk MOTAS feel lol. Maybe it's just me.

Good short funny game lol
Comment By Tweetiti
That was even better than the 1st one!
Comment By Crushed_butterfly
@ gossip-girl, well done you for making such a valid point. It is so easy for us gamers to say where are the games, but i don't think many of us appreciate the time it takes, (that includes me sometimes), so I say thank you for that reminder.
@ murgh as usual an excellent game.
and finally what happened to the hamster, where is he, I hope he is somewhere nice.

I really enjoyed this game, for the same reasons nashville and pootsie mentioned. The only thing I missed was the rope, after that it was much easier

Check the notes below if you want to do clever spoiler, hint or avatar stuff and you don't know how. Otherwise just add a comment (it's pretty simple):
Help With Adding Comments:
SPOILERS/HINTS: Use the special <spoiler>, or <hint>, tags by wrapping them around your comment if you want to provide help in games comment threads. 'Wrap a tag' around your comment by placing one tag in front of your comment, and one tag after. See the examples below:
AVATARS/GRAVATARS: Comments now support Gravatars if you would like to use your own user avatar/picture/icon on your comments. Simply enter the email address from your Gravatar account in the email field when adding your comment if you would like to use this feature. This is purely optional though, and you do not need an Avatar, or a Gravatar account, to use the comments. Note that if you enter your email address in the email field, but it's not associated with a Gravatar account a default avatar image will be used.
