Miniature Garden(s)

Reading the subtle clues in the game title "Miniature Garden 2" I can detect that at some point I may have forgotten to post "Miniature Garden 1". It's those kind of crazy mad detection skills that got me to the rank of Chief Inspector in that Bow Street game don't you know? [subbed by winniethepooh, Malia & carm].

Ok -- that was totally obscure. No way I'd ever figure it out without the text giving, I'm sure, vital clues. I figured out why I couldn't put the balls in the tubs -- you MUST look at the bookmark in the purple book.

I didn't find a many of the steps very logical at all. Ah well. Not as if I could ever make one of these games, so I shouldn't complain.

Oh, if you draw the times on a clock on top of one another you get a symbol... only I don't know the meaning of the symbol in English :-(

but neither works. If you put them all on a clock together, it ends up with something looking like a

but neither works either.

It requires 4 letters, so maybe there's some other secret I'm not picking up on? Anyone past this?
