Ah, okay to get past those tongues:

Squeeze the berries so that the juice is on each pole. Change the season clock to winter, then click each tongue. They will be stuck on the poles and you'll be able to jump across them

lick a frozen pole your tongue sticks to it..

So you need the batteries for the season clock..

Click on the top of the green carrot a few times to release the battery bee

Open the clock

Click on the bee and he goes in

Click the rock on the wall to get the second battery

Close the clock

Click the berries if they are still ripe.

If they've dried out you'll need to go through the seasons to summer again and then click the berries before the dry out so that they pour down all the rods. If one dries out before you get all of them you'll have to rotate through the seasons again

Remember what I said about poles?

Once the juice is on all the poles switch to winter and click the tongues. They'll stick to the poles. Click your hero and walk across.

On to the next room. In this room it is quite possible to do things in the wrong order and have to start over. Clicking Liam will allow you to start over.

1.

Before you do the berries cycle through the seasons. Once back at summer the top of the green carrot should be grey. Pick up the rock at your feet. Click on you hero to throw it. The top of the carrot will burn away providing an entrance later

2.

When cycling through to get the berries, whenyou get to spring click the pod in the lower right hand corner..... a bug will emerge. If you don't when you get to summer a swam of flying insects will emerge and drain your berries.

Room 4 Walkthrough

1. Click on the cherry of the cake the ant is holding.
2. Get the unlit torch.
3. Light it with the other torch.
4. Hold the torch up to the bubble on the balcony above you.
4. Click on the knocked out ant guard. He will fall & lose his head.
5. Click on his head to wear it.
6. Click on the spear to grab it.
7. Click yourself to walk forward.
8. When the tasting monster sticks out his tongue, click on the first crumb to feed it to him.

When up against the queen, there are two things to remember:

1.

Are you REALLY filling that sponge up as much as you can?

If you've done both those things, she should be easy to knock off & get yourself a legendary ending!

There was really only one thing I didn't enjoy about this game - the fact that even if you've turned the music off, it comes back on in every room. It wouldn't be so bad except during the intro to each room, unwanted music kept playing. Really annoying.

Apart from that this was very good! I liked the combination of puzzle and timing, the graphics were good, and the concept was well executed.I also thought that the design of the puzzles was creative, with interesting monsters & unexpected actions. Looking forward to more chapters!

Seems this has some bugs, no pun intended...or perhaps I'm thicker than that berry juice...Reemus will not walk across in the first scene, he just stands there talking. BTW, I have no speaking sounds, just the background music, so have no idea what he is saying.

Great graphics, interesting idea, some good puzzles and I like the characters.

BUT.

Annoying music and I hate having to die to reset the puzzles. It means repeating some actions far too many times. And I don't like timed puzzles either.

Allegra, the reckless end goes like this: Instead of putting the sponge in the queen's mouth, Reemus goes in her mouth and she swallows him... The final scene is the same, under the tree, but instead of "legendary" the "reckless" appears... :)
