If you say Tortuga 2 over and over, fast enough, you will eventually tie your tongue into a knot. To be precise it'll be tied into a round turn with two half-hitches, and will require a visit to an emergency room and/or your local scout hut to get it back to normal. So before you try that, I suggest you first play Tortuga 2, otherwise you may miss out on some quality point'n'click gaming before you have to pawn your computer to pay your medical bills and/or scout troop 'donations' [subbed by pufumic, Buji & Mystery].

what the hooey is up with the parrot mesmerized by the blue jewel? Do you ever interact with the bird? Can I get the gem?

Silke: The parrot and the pendulum are just a reminiscent of part 1. As far as I could see, they don't do anything in this game.
