:only thing I have found with the curtain in regards to the note is, if you click half way on the bottom part of the window, it will direct you to the tissue box and alarm clock.

what i did was close the left, close the right, open the left, open the right and then finally close the right again... a blue paper should fly out...
i'm not sure whether this is the right sequence because i just clicked away. hopefully it's correct!

:Your method's a little wrong, Blackethorn. I figured it out, and this is how it goes:

Start with both curtains open.
"Dark from the left" - close the left, then the right.
"Light from the right" - open the right, then the left.
"Half with the right" - close the right again. Viola!
"Dark from the left" - close the left, then the right.
"Light from the right" - open the right, then the left.
"Half with the right" - close the right again. Viola!
Now I've beaten it. Phew!
