the screwdriver can turn the screws on the axe, but I can't find a clue about what way to turn them so the button works

I made a harpoon out of the rope and the plunger and put it on the harpoon gun, but I can't hit anything so it sticks.
I have many other things I think I can do eventually, but stuck at this point.

as soon as you get the answer from the computer upstairs , you'll be able to open the door with glyphs all over (skeleton room) then on you'll know how to get the crow.
