Agatha: Mediterranean Escape
Sit back, relax, and take some quality time to play the rather refined Agatha: Mediterranean Escape, another classy point'n'click outing from Tomatea [subbed by charlie].

...I can't believe I just beat a Tomatea game with no outside help at all.

Well, I needed a tiiiny bit of outside help... :)

Nice graphics, and nice puzzles. Something different...

There is a cabinet with two buttons on it

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

I know I'm supposed to use the clue from the macrame on it, but I've tried it every way I can think of and it won't work. Tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Read the macrame from left to right. You may need to hang it somewhere so you can see it properly. Some knots tend left while some tend right. Ignore the straight knots.

This was ok but a bit short. Only the 2 buttoned cabinet troubled me and that's because I went way over the top in my deciphering of the clue for it.

Has anyone had it to work in Firefox? It just won't work for me. :(

@TJ: Just tried in Firefox 4 and it worked a treat straightaway.

So stuck. Put a turtle in the birdbath thing, have a lemon and a dirty handkerchief. (sigh)

Never mind -- progress -- seems you have to wait for the turtle. Fancy that.

the darn macrame puzzle was a pain in the neck, yes, neck.

Eh. I didn't like how the puzzles wouldn't even let you try unless you should know what the answer is. Brute-force is a valid method. It's just not all that efficient.

Excellent Tomatea game. First one in a while where all the hints made sense and I did not need any outside help to decipher any of the clues or find any random, hidden hotspots.
