HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

The code for which notes to play on the piano are found in the gold heart hanging in the bird cage

To get the key at the bottom of the coffee maker, you need a screwdriver, which will be available when you can solve the puzzle for the bottom left cabinet.

Is there a hidden trick to the piano? I mean

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I deciphered the code for the tune, I played it, nothing. I played it again, nothing. I played it the third time, nothing. I played it the fourth time - voilá..., it worked...

I'm positive I tried the same all four times...

*white keys only*

1 of the combos: 11243255 (the one that seemed to work) Although, for some reason, I had to play it a few times along with the other combo for it to work.

Other Combo: 1234567

Yeah, this one was kind of ruined at the last moment by the piano thing...

I played it a bunch; until it worked. I know I was playing it correctly as far as the notes go. Maybe, just maybe, you have to play the 8 note "tune" after stepping away and coming back in and opening the keyboard without any other notes... but I'm sure I did that a few times... to no avail... until "avail!" and "voila!", it worked...

Didn't I?
