:Cute game. I got a little bit stuck at the very last puzzle, but it was pretty easy and fun to do overall.
BetsyBee
:It is a fake, I can't get it to load!
BioLarzen
:Doesn't load :( (Chrome, neither with nor without AdBlock)...

BioLarzen
:POP... Finally it loaded.

:So far I like the game and I'm quite sure I'm at the final stages - I've just put the card in the card slot.
There seems to be something strange though:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the business card holder has 8 cards in it, but the first 4 cards seem to be the same the others are different.
Are those really supposed to be the same, or is there a bug (or have I missed to do something) that prevents me seeing items 2-4?

SonicLover
:Bio: That's the way it's supposed to be, I think.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The fact that there are multiple cards is a hint that that's who the room belongs to. After all, who keeps that many of someone else's business card around?
BioLarzen
:Sonic,
OK, cool then.
Thx for the info.
bio
BioLarzen
:(But then I don't have the faintest about how to solve the card-reader puzzle... There are two things I can think of:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The cards and the ties - those are the things there are (at least) five of...
but I just can't match the patterns to either of those...)
bio
BioLarzen
:OK, got it - half by myself...
bio
BioLarzen
:Do I understand that the only end is that you sorta fail? :)
I liked this one.

Clue. I'm stuck and can't find out how to open the box next to the laptop.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I've looked a the cards, but no 5-digit numbers. I assume the fake white diamond is there. And what's with the photo of the number pad in the briefcase?
So lost. :(
A. Fox
:OF COURSE I would figure it out as soon as I posted it. Duh.
Catkin
:cannot get it to load
Chacha
:@Catkin, BetsyBee
There's an alternative link on the page (text in blue: 'alternative site")
RSH
:This has been great, but I just cannot get the last puzzle..!
Will meditate (thanks to the "save" feature) as I'm quite baffled and the music has finally gotten to me so I'm sure I've played too long for now...
Aum.... Om...
RSH
:One thing that is weird and may be my downfall?
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
1st off I'm not entirely sure if I'm even meant to use the TIME4 on the same pad that I used to open the right safe... and if so what so... so there is that.
But there is a card with something written on it that is now greyed out in my inventory; but I never saw it! At least I don't recall. And now I can't get a good look at it.
Aummmmmmm....
Chacha
:I give up, been stuck too long with the reader card code
@RSH:
there was nothing useful to read on that card except

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Time4 is the last thing you do before you leave the room. Remember the time you put in the clock? That was a four digit number. If you put those four numbers together and then tack the number 4 on the end, you have a five digit number. Go back to the card reader next to the exit and put in those five numbers the way you did to get the diamond puzzle to work the first time. The end. :)
Mr. Bailey
:A bitt too hard during the last puzzles, didn't really make any sense to me even though they were solvable.
Otherwise pretty good.
LM
:The game's hints are pretty explicit, but here's a walkthrough just in case. I broke up the steps a lot so hopefully if you need help with just one part, it won't ruin the rest. :)
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the bed and take the key from under the pillow.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the nightstand on the right and open the drawer with the key.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Take the cardholder and the fake blue diamond.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Open the cardholder and flip through the cards. You'll need them multiple times to complete the game so it helps if you've glanced at all of them.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Turn around and go to the laptop. Put in the first name of the person whose card comes first in the business card holder (Ryo).
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click on the clock. Note the time (9:35).
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Turn to the left and click on the window. Notice the emphasis on the word "night."
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go back to the same nightstand where you got the cardholder. Enter the time on the clock. Because it is night time, and there is no "PM" button on the clock, you need to add 12 hours. The correct time is 21:35.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Write down the code you get: 12, 3, 9, 3, 6, 12.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the closet door and click on the panel. Enter the code and click ok.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
(Up is 12, right is 3, down is 6, and left is 9 -- just like a clock.)
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Back up and open the closet door. Note that there are five ties.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click on the pink bag in the closet and take out the present.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Open the present and take out the card.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click on the present in your inventory and take a closer look at the shoes.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Write down the code: R L R L L R
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Leave the closet for now and go to the nightstand on the left side of the bed. Note that there are six cigarettes on the table.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click on the drawer, enter the code, and click okay.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The stars here are the same as from the shoes. So click R L R L L R.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Take the fake yellow diamond and the notebook. Open the notebook.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The code on the left gets you into the safe at the bottom of this nightstand. You have five ties, which corresponds to blue. You have six cigarettes = orange. And if you check the name cards again, you'll see that you have eight, which is for green. Close the notebook.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the safe at the bottom of the nightstand and enter the code (click orange six times, blue five times, green eight times). The order in which you click them doesn't matter, just get the number of clicks right. Open the safe and take the fake red diamond.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
If you do not have a number pad on your keyboard, it helps to open the box in the closet next. Remember the card you got with the present? Click on it again. Note that the name is Sakura and the word email is highlighted. Check the name cards for Sakura's email address.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Sakura's email has the numbers 0428. Go back to the closet and enter the code on the box on the floor.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click on the picture of the numberpad at the top of the box. This should remind you of the code on the second page of the notebook. Note that Home is 7, left arrow is 4, right arrow is 6, and End is 1.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click the notebook and write out the code: 7 6 1 4 7
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go back to the counter with the laptop and click on the brown box. Enter the code. Take the clear fake diamond.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the bed and click on the pictures of the drinks. Campari is red, Apricot is yellow, Blue moon is blue, and Daiquiri is clear.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go back to the box in the closet. Put the fake diamonds in the box in order according to the instructions.
A = Apricot = Yellow diamond
B = Blue moon = Blue diamond
C = Campari = Red diamond
D = Daiquiri = Clear diamond
Take the yellow card.
A = Apricot = Yellow diamond
B = Blue moon = Blue diamond
C = Campari = Red diamond
D = Daiquiri = Clear diamond
Take the yellow card.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Go to the panel by the exit door and insert the yellow card.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The color of the letters and the wording indicate that this panel will unlock the final safe (the one on the bottom of the second nightstand). The code is 1 2 3 4 5, and it's in a white diamond. The numbers correspond to how many white diamonds are supposed to be on each button.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click the first shape one time, so that only one white diamond appears. Click the second shape three times, so that only two diamonds appear. The third shape needs to be clicked two times, the fourth doesn't need to be clicked, and the fifth needs to be clicked four times.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click ok and the message will change to "The safe OPEN." Go to the nightstand and open the safe. Take the blue flashlight and the message card.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Note that the message card is from Ocean. You have a name card from someone named Ocean. Go to it.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
You only have the flashlight left, so use the flashlight on the Ocean name card (it's the 6th one out of 8). Note that the code is TIME4.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The only time you have is 21:35. Add a four and your final code is 2 1 3 5 4. The only place you can put in a five digit code besides the empty box by the computer is the panel by the door. So go to the panel and put in the code.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click the first shape three times, the second shape once, the third shape two times, and the fourth shape four times. Do not click on the fifth shape. Click ok.
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
You're out! But sadly, you are not going to be an "occupation thief" anymore. You are now unemployed.
Even though there is a disclaimer, did this game make anyone else think of Ocean's Eleven?
RSH
:Got it... but
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
...as Bio said it seems I "failed" anyway.
Except, screw that BOSS anyway.
Thanks for the considerately hinted hints and considerately spoilered solution!
Love the ones that make me meditate! And this is the 2nd one today to have such nice puzzles + this one even had some amenities so...

:Not sure we need that walkthrough LM, youtube is easier if you really must..
Great game
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Diamond puzzle was difficult, needed a HINT

:
Not sure we need that walkthrough LM, youtube is easier if you really must..
If someone is willing to do such a nice properly spoilered job of providing a walkthrough right here where we don't have to go googling up and then clicking through to assorted, random, each-one-a-"venture" AND we can can avoid the absolute scourge and bane of all good things (streaming! oh how this hater hates everything about youtube)... I say welcome and thanks!
Sighfield
:haterz gonna hate (?)
RSH
:I'm haterzin'! You-know how I do when it comes to you-tube. Just haterzin' away like a hater will do when presented with something to righteously hate on.
Qolab
:Great walkthrough, LM. Thanks!
Daphne
:Thank you, LM!!!!
Anticon
:Once again I agree with all things RSH.
