Viridian Room (AKA Crimson Room 2)
I'm too darn busy to post anything, but I had to make an exception here. Take your phone off the hook and put your life on hold, the sequel to Crimson Room is here in the form of the Viridian Room. I'm only just working my way through it now, but feel free to start up a help forum in the comments to this thread as before. My one top tip so far is to peak through the keyhole to see part 1. *joy*

Update: The site doesn't seem to be up the whole time, it must be getting a lot of hits, if you can't reach the game first time around try again later.

Just a tip about the bike lock code... IT IS THE GIRLS BIRTHDAY! (or it was for me anyways) In my Diary, her birthday was August 5th, 2004. So the combination lock was 0805... woo hoo! And I'm OUTTA THIS ROOM FINALLY! Just had to leave a rtip or two, because I would never have gotten out if not for all of your help!!!!

Amanada - I just can't go thru the whole making the soul box thing again, it's driving me nuts explaining this thing. Persist on this page (it's on here a few times), or try the walkthru linked at the top.

Stina: Get the mat off the skeleton by getting the key off it first (it's in the left hand). The two chinese characters you are probably missing are the one on the lightshade and the one on the top shelf (those were the last ones I found anyway).

WOW!! great games i liked the first 1 a little better tho harder to figure out. although the ending is a little puzzling but i kinda understand that the skeliton is ure soul and he was stuck like you were stuck in the games but good games maybe make a third room just for fun to keep it going!!! theses games are a definate must play they r hard it took me 3 hours for the first 1 & 1 & a half for this 1.... :-p

Hey guys. I just found out something. When you try to get out of the room, there's a sound played rite? Sound's like someone is talking but you don't understand rite? I've tried to record the sound and reverse it. It's actually a sentence. "He who dive into unbelievable deep darkest heavenly hell, ...... " Gives me the chills. I can't hear the rest because of the sound effects in the background. Anyone wanna try to find out?

Click on the cd case >> Click on About Item >> Click on CD to open the CD Cover >> Click on CD from the item list >> Click on the CD Cover again. That should do it.

I can't remember having a problem picking the diary up but you will need the key to open it (it's in the left hand of the skeleton).

i havent left any reviews or asked any questions, but i have just been reading all the reviews people leave and using them to help me, and i just have to say Thanks to everyone taht left a review. It helped me alot. But i thought that the incense was a marker so i was (at one point) busting my balls trying to find them, but eventually i figured it out. Thanks again guys.

Examine the paper with the hair on it in your inventory before trying to lift the bin.

To lift the blanket you need get ALL the items off the skeleton first - the pill box and the key (check the rib cage and the left hand).

Search this page (press <ctrl>+F) if you're still stuck.

MAR: To lift the blanket you need get ALL the items off the skeleton first - the pill box and the key (check both hands) - note just a few posts up I screwed up by remembering incorrectly that one of the items was hidden in the rib cage (sorry).

Kenny: The code changes all the time (daily I believe) but is always the date in the diary that the bike gets stolen. The date should be entered in the format MMDD - so just at the moment the diary is saying the bike was stolen on the 25th August so the code is 0825.

Melissa: If you really want to get into it there's this whole plot about how you're getting your soul back into your body - that's the skeleton on the floor (i think that's the idea anyway) - so you can escape the room, but yes it really boils down to the fact that you are just trying to escape the room. If you're lost just start trying to collect objects and trying to use them to see what happens. Good luck.
