SCROLL DOWN IF U CANT FIGURE IT

1. go to the fridge. click the meat get the symbol but dont get the beer yet.
2. then go to the garbage can.pick up the hair. go to another scene. view the paper of hair. go back to the bin pick it up and a lighter. then view the paper burn it a couple of times and u will see dice stuff.
3. next go to the shoe case lift the shoe get the stuff. not necesary to get the frame actually.
4.find a place with a door without a knob. then look up and u will see the light with a symbol on it and about another card a bit right. (not sure place with the knob or without the knob)
5. go to the place with the red mat. pick the mat up. click the left hand of the skeleton. the key falls off. get the key . and on the right hand is a bottle. get it too. and while you are on that position watching the skeleton get the mat otherwise you will close it then open it.
6. then view the mat and click abit lower left of it two times and it will open up a dice.
6.go to the cabinet click a bit up of the red book u will go nearer. click to the right to get the incense and then the left to get a card. click two times the yellowish mat so you can get a symbol.
(WELL AT LEAST THAT HELPS YE ALOT SCROLL DOWN MORE TO REALLY SPOIL THE GAME)
7.then use your key on the red diary at the end page you will find a cd get it put it in the cd case.
8. get a paper( in real life ) and then burn the paper alot of times and then this stuff coems out. note it on the paper then open the bottle of pills. get the 2 pills out the read the paper. now match the thing with the chinese symbols. for example number 1 on the dice paper (not green) was there so the chinese symbol in that spot attack it on the green dice paper with the same number. now to attack view the green paper click the chinese symbol and place them in position. once it asembles it self go to the skeleton.
9 now the password.it changes so just figure out that ur self.
10. after it unlocks get the beer go to the cabinet where u see that bell. place the beer on the left. the cd case with the cd on the middle the incense abit right of the beer . then light the incense. then ring the bell. the skeleton will come alive get your puzzle box the finish

yupi, la hice, al final uno dice wow que dumb como no pense antes, para empezar tienen que encontrar las 6 fichas con los numero chinos (japoneses) la mas dificil esta sobre la lampara pero se ve de color rojo asi que intenten todas las posiciones posibles del cuarto, la llave para el diario esta en la mano izquierda del esqueleto solo hagan clic varias veces, lean detenidamente el diario, pide que alguien rece por el, osea la foto que deben poner en el marco (que esta bajo el armario de los zapatos) es de él, busquen la fecha en que le roban la bicicleta, esa es la clave del candado, en la manta encontraran un papel, esa es la clave para saber que papel chino coincide con los numeros del dado y conformar la caja para el alma. Recojan el papel que esta en el basurero, cojan la cerveza y recuerden de donde la sacan, solo al final la tienen que regresar y que vuelva a congelarse (para eso se acercan a la hielera, abren, marcan la cerveza, clic en el lugar donde estaba, cierran y esperan), el encendedor esta bajo el basurero, con el prenden el incienso y queman el pelo que esta en el papel que recogieron hace un rato, tienen que hacer varios clic hasta que aparezcan unos numeros. Observen bien los numeros recolectados con los de la manta y los del papel quemado, luego traten de hacerlos encajar en el dado. Tengan en cuenta que en el altar deben colocar la foto del joven, el case con el CD (q esta al final del diario), quemar el incienso, poner la cerveza helada (chilly) hacer sonar la campana, cuando les diga que algo sobra, retiren el marco con la foto, otra vez suenen la campana y voila!!!! libre

I saw some people asking how to get the lighter from underneath the trashcan.... I dont know if anyone answered, but for some odd reason you have to click on the hair in the 'about item' box then go back to the game where you will then be able to get the lighter from underneath the trash.

For example, if the bike was stolen on 05/18/2004, the code would be 0518. that is how you get the lock code so look in the diary and write it down and by the way how do you get the lighter I cant get it from the can

The following is a walkthrough for Toshimitsu Takagi's game, Viridian Room. Don't use it if you don't want to cheat!
Turn the light on by clicking the bright spot in the bottom center of the screen.
Look in the trashcan next to the small fridge. You have to open the fridge and close it again to be able to reach the trashcan. Get the hair out of the trashcan and into your inventory.
Select the hair in your inventory, and click "About Item". You need to do this to unlock the next step.
Now that you've examined the hair, you can lift the trashcan (if you don't inspect everything in your inventory, nothing happens when you click the trashcan). Get the lighter from under the trashcan.
Back to the fridge. Open the fridge and get the can of beer from it, then put it right back in. You need to do this to refrigerate the can.
Check under the meat in the fridge to find the first symbol. If you didn't before, put the beer back into the fridge.
Click to the right of the trashcan to turn and face the wall. You'll see another white card with a symbol on it.
Click to the right to turn again, until you see this screen. You'll see a bit of the lamp near the top right of the screen. Click it.
It's hard to see, but another symbol card is hiding on top of the lamp (it's shaded red instead of white, it's on the left side of the lamp).
Check the top shelf of the gray bookcase, and look in the left-hand side for another symbol card.
While you're there, check the right-hand side of this top shelf for a bundle of incense.
Check under the two brown pillows to the right of the bookcase for another symbol card.
Check under the blue slippers in the short red bookcase for another symbol card.
Click the slippers to put them back down, then click the space under the red bookcase to reveal an empty frame.
Look in the bottom cupboard of the gray bookcase for a yellow book. Take the two photos from inside it.
Click the red mat on the floor in the center of the room to reveal a skeleton.
Take the blue bottle of pills from the skeleton's right hand. Then, click the skeleton's other hand a few times until it drops a key. Take it.
Inside the bottle of pills is a piece of paper with Chinese symbols on it. You will need to remember the symbols and their pattern. You can try to write the symbols on a piece of paper, or just refer to the image on this page.
Now that you've got the key, you can take the red mat that was covering the skeleton. Examine it and click it a couple times until you open it. Get the green cross from inside.
The key from the skeleton unlocks the diary, the red book on the bookcase. Use the key on the lock, and read. When you get to the page where the writer says his girlfriend's birthday is in two days, stop. Write down the month and date of her birthday. The date is random, be sure to write it down.
Slowly flip through the empty pages of the diary. After the last page you will find a CD. Take it.
Now check the skeleton's feet to find a bike lock. The first two numbers of the combination are the month of the girlfriend's birthday (use a 0 as the first number if it's less than ten). The last two numbers are the date of her birthday (again, use a 0 if it's less than ten). When you get it right, it will unlock.
Examine the black hair in your inventory. Select the lighter, and use it on the black hair many times until the pattern appears completely brown (the game will say something when you're done). This pattern is also random, write it down.
Examine your CD case, open it, and put the CD in.
Examine the green cross. Using the pattern from the black hair paper, and the pattern of Chinese symbols from the bottle of pills (see above), place the symbol cards onto the numbers of the green cross. When you get it right, it turns into a box.
If you didn't put the beer back in the fridge, do it now. You'll have to wait a few minutes for the beer to get chilly. Take the beer out of the fridge and examine it. If it says "so chilly", it's ready.
Now put the CD case, the beer, and the bundle of incense on the altar on the gray bookcase (it's the shelf with the bell and bowl on it). Use the lighter on the bundle of incense to light it. Now click the stick to the right to ring the bell. You're done!
