Treasure Box

Treasure Box is a surreal little flash game thingumy. It's not quite a point'n'click adventure game in the normal sense, but playing around with all the clicking options certainly helps you through the thing - but in this case some of the things that happen when you 'fail' are as good as finding the successful path to the end.

Walkthrough

1. Click on the head
2.Click red ball
3.Click the frame's
4. Click the lady over to the right the whole below her.make sure the water is running
5. Click the 2nd to last guy of frames
6.Click in the tunnel, and the arm will throw it.
7. click on the wheel, hold down your mouse and rotate the mouse.
8. over to the left click on the medal garage, leave it up, from there click in the garage and something will leave
9.on the right open the shutters click once
10.Then there is the piano you have to play to complete the game, I can't figure out how to play it.
Comment 9, Wednesday, 03 Nov 2004 18:50:00

Thanks for the walkthru GTO - I found the piano is easily completed by trial and error and a bit of patience. If you look at what happens as you press each key you can tell there is a difference between playing a good note and playing a bum note. Try all the keys to find the first 'good' note, and then look at the way the notes go up and down on the scale and do likewise on the keyboard. It's a bit tricky but if you persist you'll get it within a few minutes at most - note everytime you play a bum note you go right back to the begining so you have to remember the sequence that worked as you go along.

as you move the flying guy around, the ball runs away from it. if the ball goes and touches the bottom of the screen, you fail. thus, make the ball go to the _____ of the screen to pass.

Absolutely excellent. Good art, good imagination, kind of wimpy ending - not that I wanted the treasure, but it isn't up to the rest of the game. Still, reminds me of some of Terry Gilliam's best work.

Yes, I finally beat it! I didn't even have to use any walkthroughs or help this time! That hasn't happened since...well, ever. Yeah! (Note: As all of you musical people realize by now, it really helps at the piano-playing puzzle if you can read music.) A fun little game.

this game is WONDERFUL. not really a puzzle, more of a game -- fun to play, and beautiful. lovely music.
the key to playing the piano is that it lights up the NEXT note as you play the correct tone, so figure out what note you started with and then how many tones up or down from that the lit-up note is.
