Trapped in a series of rooms, that all look the same, I can only imagine that the goal of "In The One" is to escape this disorientating maze-like construction [subbed by winniethepooh & laragosta].

:this sounds rather lame... i'll give it a try anyway
Danilynn
:FIRST!!
to say first. haha
Confuzd
:So, u gonna say ONE?? or should I?? Or am I TWO?? O Lord, this is alll so existential. Am I ONE or TWO?
NninetyC
:...hahahaha. anyhoo figured out what to do yet?
Confuzd
:damn. TWO or THREE???
Pirate_Ninja_Monkey
:I tried it yesterday @ gamershood. It is difficult and I would agree with DaniLynn- rather lame.
Suffice to say, I did not get anywhere and neither did any of the other player - they may have progressed since, I don't know.
There are also 2 playing windows - one lets you put more numbers in the code box than the other.
Wierd.
Pirate_Ninja_Monkey
:I mean NninetyC, not Dannilynn.
Sorry!
YS
:i don't even know the first code... hummmm
Danilynn
:ok so ive only found a paper, and a purple thing that says "input"... anyone else find anything useful?
Pirate_Ninja_Monkey
:Nope, but I figure the math on the paper is what you need to help figure out the code for the code pad.
However there seems to be no logic in it.
NninetyC
:a few of the math things on the paper are wrong... still doesn't help at all
YS
:it feels i've tried every possible combination, but still nothing...
anybody notice there's two games to play?! In the bottom one you can open doors and go through, in the top one you're stuck. I'm pretty sure the code is connected to both games. but what is the code???????
Hellek28
:I found this on gamershood:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The sums are based on the number of strokes in the characters for those numbers. For instance, there is 1 stroke in the character for "one" and 2 strokes in the character for "two", so they add up to three.
Here are the number of strokes for each character:
One: 1
Two: 2
Three: 3
Four: 5
Five: 4
Six: 4
Seven: 2
Eight: 2
Nine: 2
Ten: 2
Hundred: 6
So 100 + 10 + 1 = 9.
Here are the number of strokes for each character:

But since i'm not english......I have no ides what "strokes" are. Can someone help me?
Pufje
:i dont get it...
hellek's hits defenetly said the password is 9
there something missing we dont see...
probaly something very easy just as always -_-''
Hellek28
:so what are "strokes"??
Paint
:I have *no* idea where that logic is coming from, Hellek.. strokes, in this case, are basically each line you draw when you write each number... so in that sense, "1" and "2" are correct, you have one stroke for 1 (just the straight line with a pencil) and 2 strokes for 2 (that hook is your first stroke, then the straight line at the bottom is your second) but that totally falls apart at 3, which really only has 2 strokes as well, the first curve then the second.
Seems arbitrary and silly to me. Poorly designed game, I stopped after 10 minutes.
Ayesha
:Anyone notice there's a black square that comes up when you face 2 of the sliding doors (the input one and the one to the right of it). It disappears for the rest of the two doors when facing them.
This square is outside the main game's frame; next to the '?@' symbols
Ayesha
:The reset button changes the directions too............
i'm still lost.
º¿º
:did anyone get past the first puzzle??!?!?
Charmer
:Paint, you are exactly right about the meaning of strokes, but the game is JAPANESE, people. The Japanese character for 4 takes 5 strokes to write. Nothing illogical about it once you realize that English is not the only language on this planet.
º¿º
:CHARMER....care to enlighten the rest of us to what exactly the answer is then? or at least an explanation on how YOU got the right answer?
