:I played this earlier today, and its important to know that the game can be a bit buggy. Sometimes you have to repeat actions several times before they work. Also, there are many items you won't end up using.

look at the back of the clock, probably to get the batteries that you might need for the volt meter

On the map, each colored wire corresponds to a number of the same color. There is no gray wire, but there is a gray number.

:Tried to use crowbar on the cable around the corner, but I kept getting the message "too rusty". Tried using oil on the crowbar; not sure if it worked, but now trying to use the crowbar on the cable does absolutely nothing.
