Shadow Of The Killer

And now for something completely a little different... the reason I don't understand what's going on in Shadow Of The Killer isn't because I don't understand Japanese. It's because I don't understand Turkish. Whatever though, I'm happy to see a new point'n'click game, wherever it's from, and if I can learn a little Turkish along the way, all the better (kamera = camera, translation fans!). As far as I can make out Shadow Of The Killer is a point'n'click murder mystery with an exceptionally long intro animation (stick with it). Good luck! Also I can't resist linking to my one bit of Turkish "knowledge" since we're on the subject (and since Musical Friday is on a break): it's Istanbul not Constantinople, folks :) [subbed by handyrman].

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
gone to the left, gotten a key and a jar of something, picked 2 pieces of paper somewhere, used the key on the door off the study, and used the jar of something to make the password appear on the white paper to make the computer...crash? Why did I do that so the computer screen would go all fuzzy?

OMG!!! I have played a similar adventure game, not too long ago, with the same background in all the pics! Yes, i remember...it was NiBiRu, Age of Secrets!! Too bad we cant understand the language, and it would be nice to have a little background noise.

gh:

After
the long, but very long intro.

1. Go left, take ink and key from table. In the same room, go to the safe on one of the shelves of the bookcase take paper with phone number.

2. Use key on the door, enter computer room, take paper beside computer. Click on paper, drag the bottle of ink on it, a number will appear. Enter number on computer and click the word tamam. Screen will change.

3. Go back to the room where you started and on the door left of the painting, you will get to a new place. The number you will see appear is not relevant, it’s just a password if you want to leave and restart at that place.

4. Enter new house, talk to the guy in security booth. Then go through the door at your right. It’s an elevator.

5. When on second floor, talk to the man, then take phone number list from his desk. A cell phone will also appear in your item list.

6. Take back elevator and exit building.

7. Go left, take blue triangle beside fence.

8. Click on the paper with phone numbers on it, then drag the blue triangle beside the number that shows on the other paper you had earlier. A second paper with this same number will appear in your item list.

9. Go back one screen to the right, then click on the white paper with phone number on it, then click on the second paper with phone number on it, then click on the phone. You will end up in a new place and will have a flashlight in your item list.

10. Go left, click on the black box beside the brick passage. Take needles.

11. Take flashlight and enter the passage, you will find a locked door.

12. Drag needles to the lock, you’re OUT!

Wow That game sucked! The only good part was laughing at the guy who looked terrified in the intro, it was just tooo corny. But I did enjoy reading the conversation about Istanbul.

SPOILERS/HINTS: Use the special <spoiler>, or <hint>, tags by wrapping them around your comment if you want to provide help in games comment threads. 'Wrap a tag' around your comment by placing one tag in front of your comment, and one tag after. See the examples below:
  • Just type a regular comment.
  • <spoiler>Wrap spoilers for games in spoiler tags</spoiler>.
  • <hint>Wrap hints for games in hint tags</hint>.
If you are still stuck, try copying and pasting one of the examples above into the comment box, or use the hint & spoiler buttons.
