Never-Ending Riddle
Currently the Never-Ending Riddle doesn't quite live up to it's name as there are only 5 levels (including the root), but the idea is that the puzzle grows daily with players puzzle submissions - so why not pop over and see if you can solve the exisiting levels, then put your thinking hat firmly on your head and come up with your own new level? Quite a cool idea if it takes off [subbed and created by MikeJ].

You're very close - maybe you just need a key to unlock the answer?

are the letters i got correct?
and what do you mean with the key, do you mean that i have to change the order in the alfabet so that every lettre becomes an other lettre or i'm i on the wrong trach with that?

Your letters are correct, and the riddle in the source is important. Bigger hint: Vigenere.

Yay Gigi great work! Solved it now!

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Your text (which is indeed correct!) can be decyphered with the Vinègre cypher, using the word of the source code riddle as the decoder! Then solve that riddle..et voila!

thx i figured it out, but still i don't know how i was supposed to figure out how to get to the word you gave in your hint...

I guess it's just one of the better known methods. I didn't see a clue either. I just tried a few others that didn't work and then got to this one.

I really recommend the Caesum Handbook (as linked in the sidebar on Riddle :) - the encryption section is great.

Hiya guys, when you use dutch, can you put a translation underneath it, MJ will be able to follow it as well

yo orione
do you get a normal word when you take the lettres from the dogs?
I don't....do you have to do something else or am i on the wrong trail?

Good plan Draghkar :)

Gigi, haven't solved it as of yet. I still miss 2 definites. But I think what you said to do, should be correct. I can't make anything out of it as of yet either.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

For the definites, when typed into google's image search, the exact picture appears on the first page, so then you know you're correct for sure.

The ones I identified for sure (in case you want to compare):

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

first row:
1= Akita
2= Labrador
3 = ??? Loewchen (it has to be, but no google certainty)

second row:
4= English Setter
5= ???this one drives me mad
6=???boxer - no google certainty, but it does seem like one to me

third row:
7= Bloodhound
8= ??? looks like a german or belgian shepherd (tervurne) to me, no google certainty
9= Samoyed
10= Komondor

I'd love to hear your ideas, especially on no. 5 - the one lying on the bed! I won't be solving puzzles much for now though. Work & Sinterklaas :-)

moving on to level 14 :)!!

level13
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

the names you got are correct orione:
1 Akita (i didn't know this one so thank you)
2 Labrador
3 Lowchen
4 English setter
5 I still don't know this one but it starts with an A or a T
6 Boxer
7 Bloodhound
8 I still don't know this one but it starts with an A or a T
9 Samoyed
10 Komondor

take the first lettres of the 10 dogs and with those lettres you can make a word, it's very easy.

CU in level 14! it's a fishy riddle...

lvl 16 is very easy
you just need to find the good decoding device and then it's a piece of cake...
I already decoded it and I'm looking at what you get then

if anyone is as far as me could he or she tell me what to do with the names, i know what they all have in common and i tried that but that didn't work, do i have to do something with the beginletters of the games they play in, or something like that?

grtz, gigi

and the first return translates the message. Dumb luck, after hours yesterday of analysing the text structure, etc. So now I have a word but it doesn't work!!!!

:
hey guys
i also found out the good word sometime ago
but i don't have any idea what to do with it...
i mean the word itself is wrong, the main character is wrong
i shuffled the lettres and i got something like "you pass" or "you can pass" and i can't make any sense out of the remaining lettres. am i on the wrong track???

Gigi:
If you have the translation correct and you use the info to find the "games" as a previous post said, then there is no rearrangement and no extra letters. I figured you then have to reverse process the result to get the answer.

Of course now I'm totally stuck on 17!!!!!!

@ pittaken
first i thought that the main character had 3 letters but i figured the good name out some time ago...
i'm now working on 17 but it's difficult to find out which ciphers the letters are...
have you found out that? if i just knew the ciphers it would be a piece of cake to solve
with qwertyuiop i think he means the letters are the ciphers above the letters but why is there an { in then? i just don't know what do to...
