Escaping the Empty Room at first glance (and maybe even quite a few after that) seems nigh on impossible, with very little to point'n'click, and with only a compass (!) to orient yourself in the room. Good luck [subbed by winniethepooh, Lost_Enigma, & snarff].
Duan is a beautiful point'n'click adventure game project, with some lush graphics and sweet music (read more about the project aspect of the game here), and is available to play in English or German. If I were to try to say what the game is like I'd say "Ninjai meets Samorost" just about covers it, and should explain why I recommend giving it a go as soon as possible [subbed by Nefretit & winniethepooh].
As I can't understand enough German to know what is going on in Vanilla Ninja: Dangerzone, and consequently I haven't finished it yet, I can't tell you what the point of the game is, other than to get Vanilla Ninja's, who seem to be an all girl German rock band, song, "Dangerzone", firmly embedded in your head. I'm currently going on the theory that you are trying to point'n'click at least one of the girls up to the top floor of the casino to open the safe. I haven't yet worked out if the order in which you do things is important, if it is I suspect I may need to restart the game as I seem to be stuck with one girl in the kitchen [subbed by winniethepooh]. Update: Did it! You do have to get the girls to the safe, and as far as I can tell you can't do the tasks in the wrong order, so there should be no need to restart at any point.
Delilah & Julius: Global Assignment is a large point'n'click game where you play either Delilah or Julius (you get to choose), who seem to be some kind of special agents. Your task is to trail the bad guys around the globe and thwart their evil bad guy type plans, which is all good fun, especially combined with some nice graphics and sounds (not to mention the groovy intro music), even if the user interface (imho) seems a bit buggy [subbed by sassylassie & winniethepooh].
Atrocitys is a short, but not at all sweet, point'n'click horror thing (there's not really enough here to call it a game), and this is not one for the kids to "play". For the rest of you don't be afraid it will all be over (very) soon [subbed by winniethepooh & f00].
Sononamo mixes up the point'n'click genres a little, using a simple graphical style, by requiring you to click the right objects, in the right order, in order to escape the house [subbed by Sophie].
Free Cathy Cat from the cage on the ceiling (!) of the girly pink room by using point'n'clickery to trash the room and find the 6 coloured gems that fit into the lock on the cat's cage. I'm not sure what language the game is in, but it's still easy to complete without understanding a word. Old hands at point'n'click games can also play the sub-game (of my own invention) of guessing which classic game the sound effects were from originally [subbed by Nick S The Hamster].
Use your point'n'click skills in The Thief 2 to escape the prison. Playable in English, or Russian if you want an additional challenge! Also try the original episode if you haven't already [subbed by eb, anon, Don & Shiny].
Unfortunately the time limit on Treasure Hunters (a tie-in with some television series on NBC I have never seen) has expired so you cannot win the cash prizes anymore, but the game is still worth playing for the challenge (unless you are totally money driven of course). The game is a curious mix of point'n'click (with some nice graphics and sound), and puzzles (involving some web searching), and really works quite well. The idea of course is to find the treasure, but you'll have to satisfy yourself with the virtual, rather than real, kind. Note registration is required if that puts you off playing a game, but it seems harmless from my experience [subbed by eljordo & gordon].
The TV Guide (UK) web site is not a guide to the transvestites of Great Britain, but is a very useful (if you are in the UK like I am), and neatly implemented, on-line televsion guide. All the major channels are shown, including the popular satellite/cable channels, with the option to add other channels of your choice, in an easy to read and understand time grid, showing 3 hours at a time. Now I can finally optimize what little televsion viewing time I get so I can view the maximum number of crime dramas (they are so addicting). A very useful site to bookmark.
