Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...
SSSG - Jewel Heist I would just like to say that I'm calling "getaway driver". I've recently become obsessed with Forza 3 despite only 'owning' the demo so I'm clearly the best man for the job. I also want 55% of the haul since it was my idea... [subbed by Selfdefiant].
Imagia 1 - The Tower is the first in a new series of fine looking (and sounding) point'n'click games, which have an artistic angle, and that have some nice, not too difficult, not overly simplistic, puzzles (judging from episode one at least, which I managed to get through with only a couple of hitches, but I did only find 6 of 8 'secrets'). All in all a very enjoyable first episode [subbed by Ralf]. UPDATE: Currently the link to the game seems to have died, I'm guessing a bandwidth problem; check back later (it's worth it) if you can't play when you try. ANOTHER UPDATE: Thanks to Jay and Ralf for the new link :) ANOTHER UPDATE: The game is now back on the original address.
It's Just A Fly", but I knew this old lady who swallowed a fly. I dunno why she swallowed that fly, but perhaps she'll die... etc [subbed by f00].
Knight Templar's cellar might be a dream come true for Dan Brown & Co, for us it's simply the prelude to yet another chance to flex our escaping muscles... take that Templar Secrets! [subbed by Sarah].
Mystery Mansion 103 might not be as scary as Room 101, but its just as tricky to escape... [subbed by f00].
Essentia Morai has arrived just in the nick of time. How did they know it was going to rain today? Anyway... it better have good puzzles though if it's going to keep me occupied until Fallout New Vegas hits the streets, let's see shall we... [subbed by myuhinny].
Rat Ranger: because when rats range, they really range, *ewww* [subbed by f00, charlie & anon].
More tea vicar, more tea vicar, more Du Zhong Tea Room Escape vicar? Does anybody know just how many different types of tea there are in the universe, as I suspect we're going to have a game for each and every one of them in this series and it's already getting decidedly 'old'... Musical Friday Footnote: This week on the ever elusive Musical Friday footnote, as we wait for the Amazon delivery peep to pop our "Panpipe Classics" long player (because mp3 really doesn't do 'the pipes' justice) in the mailbox, we're soulfully pondering "Be Set Free", organizing an impromptu hoedown with "Little Lion Man" (watch the language on that one), and dancing all around the office - well doing comedy jazz hands at least - with our "Cousins". On the other hand we are most certainly not even thinking about listening to "California Gurls", in fact we don't even know who gave us that url; *shame* on them, whoever they were...
Eternal Elements you're going to have to assume your favorite yoga position, burn a patchouli incense stick, and slip "panpipe classics" on your iPod (and you thought no-one knew you downloaded it). Meanwhile you should be chanting "ommm, ommm" in a deep voice... Trust me, it's true - I'm a doctor [subbed by itsunami].
