Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "gamershood" unearthed the following results...
In "Distress Of Christmas Customs" you play as Santa's Little Helper locked in a tastefully decorated child's bedroom whilst on a mission to decide who has & hasn't made it onto the naughty list this year. Can you escape before the child returns? Luckily for you, despite the room being locked in a bizarrely & overly complex way that suggests the child's parents are taking no chances and that surely the naughty list must beckon, it's locked with a collection of puzzles you're very familiar with from every other gamershood game you've ever played... [subbed by Pesnell & anon].

I like to check back in on gamershood games once in a while to see if they've dropped that damn tile puzzle thingummy from their usual format, because other than that I find the cookie cutter formula they use mildly enjoyable and relaxing, it's always nice to catch up on crazy tunes the kids are listening to nowadays, and the groundhog-day-esque nature of the thing is sort of comforting. However I must report that I was only three color keys into Fish Owner's Room before I got to the red key and - BAM! - there it was, that damn tile puzzle again. Arrrrgggh! At that point I just closed the tab and went no further, because I just know I'm going to "complete" that tile puzzle again and then have to sit there randomly twirling around samey looking tiles until the game agrees with me and its just not fun [subbed by anon].

It's an ultra quiet day in the lazylaces inbox today, so I thought I'd head on over to gamershood (obviously only after first checking that there were no new minoto or tomatea games - there weren't) and see what was happening over there. Anything new? Or the same old puzzles? I always quite enjoyed them (apart from those damn picture tile puzzles) even if they do get a little repetitive. Anyway, looks like their latest game is "Hangout Room Escape". Lets see what's going on with that...

Put on a little light funky music, set the mood lighting, and relax, as you play/solve the familiar puzzles in Rose Puzzle Escape. All of the locks are hidden in the curly brown side table thing in the corner of the room just in case you are getting stressed out trying to find them. Chill out dude [subbed by anon].

The furnishings and music might be cool in Cool Puzzle Escape, oh yeah - *nice*, but the puzzles are just your same old normal gamershood puzzles, which you've seen a million times before. Some gamers will like that, some adventurers will hate it, but either way it's most decidedly not cool [subbed by anon].

Playing Mini Castle Escape you are playing a lie. You quickly realize that it's not a castle, it's more of a big house or public building. It's not mini (expect maybe in depth, both literally and figuratively), and you don't escape it, you break into it [subbed by f00].
FOOTNOTES: You might well experience popup/under windows when playing this game, especially if you are using Internet Explorer (IE).
If this bothers you consider using a different web browser, like Chrome,
Firefox, Opera or
Safari all of which have better popup blocking capabilities. Here at Lazylaces we mainly use, and
highly recommend, Chrome. At the very least consider using IE in
conjunction with anti-adware software.

It difficult to say which is stranger in Green Living Room Escape, the wallpaper or the food items. As strange as they are though, the game is still incredibly familiar [subbed by anon].

If you complete Military Base Escape you'll be shot as a deserter, but on the upside you won't have to listen to the soundtrack anymore. And I'll hear none of your nonsense about "mute" buttons, thank you very much [subbed by anon].

Having only just arrived I believe a Mediterranean Mansion Escape would be very impolite, and that its my obligation to lounge by the pool sipping cocktails a while longer. Speaking of which, I must go now, duty calls! [subbed by anon].
